About
MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.

The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.

Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.

Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.

I finally played this during the Free Weekend. If Steam had a "Mixed" recommendation option, I would've picked that instead of simply recommending it or not. To me, this feels like the Balan Wonderworld of GTA-inspired games. I wanted to enjoy it, but I quickly realized there's very little actual gameplay. Most missions follow the same formula: Cutscene > Drive > Short gunfight > Drive > Cutscene After a while, the mission structure becomes repetitive. As a diehard GTA fan, this has to be one of the most disappointing GTA-inspired games I've played. It just isn't worth your time. That said, I actually enjoyed the story, and some of the third-person shooter sequences were actually ok ig, even if the combat itself feels fairly generic. Although it looks like it tries to capitalize the success of Cyberpunk or triee to ripoff the latter's game with no information What's worst is no open world. It's just your generic linear mission-based game wanted to gatekeeping you from roaming. There is no free roam whatsoever. Which it defeats the purpose of making it open world. It's more like closed world instead If you're looking for a story-driven third-person shooter with memorable gameplay, I'd recommend playing Max Payne instead or play other GTA-inspired games like Sleeping Dogs, Cyberpunk and Watch Dogs.
The first 2 hours of the game is mostly cinematics and taxi jobs, with some shooting, and explosions that make no sense. You dont get in trouble from driving over or shooting pedestrians outside the Silva factory, but once you are in the factory, you cant because you will fail the mision. You cant look around at all (since there nothing to intereact with) like you would in any similar game (mafia as example) and once you get in the car you cant get out from it until you get forced out. You cant drive anything else unless its forced on you. The game is incredibly stuttery, and has horrible ghosting. Quality modes have no effect in the games quality so keep it a minimum. Now if you like games that have 3 minutes of gameplay for every 5 minutes of cinematics this is your game. Shooting and driving is fun but GOD the game starts to feel repetitive. And I do think the story is kinda interesting although it feels like it makes no sense. Since you are ex-military that does not remember what happened in the last 5 years of your life, but randomly you get some portal to a mission that has nothing to do with the main story. If the game was probably less than 5 pounds I would think of getting it, but even still they would need to fix all of the above.
optimizasyonu bok gibi yapıp oynamama engel oldukları için yapımcılara teşekkür ediyorum
Played for Free. Decent story and excellent acting/cinematics/voice but frustrating gameplay. Tries to be Cyberpunk 2077 and GTAV clone but fails, but still a good time. Think the movie equivalent of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Solid 6.5/10.
I tried the free weekend and I liked it. I understand the controversy because the game has many flaws, but in my opinion it could be improved with time and dedication
I think this is probably one of the biggest disappointments in gaming. I followed this game from the time it was still referred to as Everywhere which I guess it still is? Imagine playing a GTA clone where you can't steal cars that feels like it is a Fortnite custom game. Everything is scripted. Only certain cars receive damage when you crash them. NPCs are like dolls. The dialogue is cringe like those parody videos of modern games, but for real. The quirky radio calls with poorly written dialogue. The guns feel like a bad game from 2011. It weird you see all of this money into art direction on billboards a huge map with nothing in it the game is poorly optimized. Benzie's ruined his image with this project I got it on sale thinking maybe it was a No Man's Sky thing, but na its a mess they'd have to just make a new game which they are planning on doing and burning anyone who bought this turd. I play a lot of games I have played a lot of bad games this one is a very unique ♥♥♥♥ up that should be studied. You did an amazing job of tricking investors and publishers. It is insane they won a law suit over people saying the game is bad or that anyone would view this as a threat at all. The game is bad
