About
MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.
The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.
Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.
Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.
Simple to Use Creation Tools
With our simple to use building tools, you’re not just playing, you’re creating. Builder mode provides access to AAA tools, including asset libraries and lighting systems, as well as simple visual scripting, making it easy to design missions, modes, and environments. Reviews
Please keep believing in this game and continue improving it. MindsEye has real potential. The daytime lighting is beautiful, the nighttime atmosphere looks fantastic, the city has a distinctive visual identity, and the cinematic gameplay can be genuinely enjoyable. There is already a strong technical and artistic foundation here. The most important improvement the game needs now is a major performance and frame pacing update. Please consider upgrading MindsEye to Unreal Engine 5.8 and combining that upgrade with a serious CPU, streaming, shader, and asset management optimization pass. UE5.8 includes several improvements that could be extremely beneficial for a large and detailed game like MindsEye: 1 : Reduced workload on the main game thread 2 : Better parallel processing to distribute work across more CPU cores 3 : Improved crowd and character processing 4 : Faster and more stable geometry streaming for large environments 5 : Optimized mesh and texture operations 6 : Improved PSO precaching and asynchronous shader compilation to reduce shader related stuttering 7 : Better scalability options for lighting and complex open world scenes 8 : Lumen Lite, which can preserve attractive dynamic lighting at a significantly lower performance cost 9 : Improved tools for identifying CPU bottlenecks, frame time spikes, streaming delays, and shader compilation misses Please focus not only on increasing the average frame rate, but also on improving frame time consistency, CPU core utilization, traversal stuttering, shader compilation stuttering, asset streaming hitches, NPC processing, and performance while driving quickly through Redrock. An engine upgrade alone will not automatically solve everything, but upgrading to UE5.8 and carefully integrating its performance improvements could provide the foundation for a huge optimization update. With proper profiling, better workload distribution across CPU cores, stronger PSO coverage, improved streaming, and optimized lighting settings, MindsEye could feel dramatically smoother on a much wider range of PCs. This is not written to criticize your work. It is written because many players can see the potential in MindsEye and want the game to succeed. You already created beautiful daytime and nighttime lighting, enjoyable action, impressive environments, and a promising world. Now the game needs the performance, responsiveness, and smoothness that this artistic work deserves. Please give MindsEye the major optimization update it needs. A strong UE5.8 upgrade and performance focused relaunch could rebuild player confidence, bring players back, improve Steam reviews, and give the game the second chance it deserves. Do not give up on MindsEye. Keep improving it. The foundation is already there, and the community wants to see the game reach its full potential.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The performance is pretty bad in comparison to similarly looking games (and I mean overall performance, but especially 1% lows - FPS drops are pretty bad, especially when you travel across the map, I guess Unreal Engine 5 used here doesn't work well), but the graphics look pretty good. Enemy combat AI is pretty dumb. I like the story and gameplay. So far there are no fillers, just story cutscenes, dialogues and combat. You can even skip traveling to the next destination if you want, but some dialogues happen during the travel so it's better to wait until the characters stop talking. For a free weekend game it's pretty good, but I wouldn't buy it for a full price with such a bad optimization, maybe with -90% discount. EDIT1. I got stuck inside a door/wall in a house after opening a door - half of my body inside the wall, half outside, had to reload a checkpoint. EDIT2. It's the type of game you'd see 15 years ago - like Max Payne 3, Quantum Break, Bioshock Infinite, Hitman Absolution - but worse than all of them. Still fun to play, but nothing you'll remember next week. EDIT3. After you restart the game, Max FPS limit doesn't work anymore. I noticed it after a while. You need to go to options and move the slider again. I wonder which settings are also not working as they should, as I get some strange lighting artifacts that I didn't see during the previous play session a day before.
De graça essa merda é cara
You know what....... If you get this on discount then it's worth the money. It's fun, Campaign is good, Characters are good. There's some mechanics like melee that's not in this like what? All in all IF you get this for $15 then You'll get a decent product out of it.
Its good jank fun, like an early 2000 game. Get it on sale
muss
feels like ai sloppy toppy game, cooked textures, bad lighting, getting around 80-120 fps on max settings no framegen/dlss, but is just a bad game, shooting, driving all just feels awful
Genuinely really wanted to like this game as I massively enjoy story based games but... No game should be having constant framerate stutters on my system. Instead of focusing on fixing the game and performance issues, they seem to be focused on trying to drum up drama. Gods, I REALLY wanted to like this game....
Holy hell I tried to make it to at least the 1 hour mark, but I can't. (Played during the free-weekend or something. I wouldn't ever pay for this crap) This is the most boring damn game ever created. I would legitimately rather watch paint dry. Let me explain some of the issues this game has. Performance is still atrocious. The game doesn't even look good anyways. The story is sleep inducing, I ended up skipping all of the cutscenes I saw anyways because it was all meaningless jargon that was missing context, went on for too long or just served no purpose. The dialogue is horrible. Whoever passed on this, as well as whoever wrote it. I hope they were fired. I'll give an example that happens in the 2nd area (in the facility). MC calls his boss 'Miss Rigby' she then responds saying 'I go by Rigby' ...okay? Literally what he said, also stfu. On the topic of dialogue this game heavily suffers from buffered responses. Every conversation is, an example not taken from game. "Hey Jacob, how are you?" ... ... ... ... "Oh, fine." EVERY TIME. I'm sorry to be a hater, but the main actor isn't it. I know there's a meme that everything he's in has performed badly, and I gotta say it. I don't think he's a good voice actor, his range is non-existent, there's no emotion, or depth to his voice at all. He literally just talks, and this was a similar story in his major role in Mafia 3. The story and Dialogue is already on the floor, he doesn't add anything good to it. After every cutscene there's a random Quote, some made up, some not. It's pointless, they don't add anything, they're not constructive. It's just filler for your playtime and annoyance. There's also just still countless bugs in the game, physics breaking, animations etc. Also there's random explosions everywhere, and one I consistently saw was because Robot AI will just walk into explosive barrels and blow up. So yeah. Leslie shoulda just stayed at Greedstar and milked their customers for all their worth instead of ruining his reputation by making ♥♥♥♥♥♥ companies and having nothing to show for it. For the love of god don't buy this game, don't even play it for free.
