Gleaner Heights

Believe me, I tried so hard to like this game, but the game is painfully boring and unfulfilling. While the concept sounded promising—a farming game with creepy secrets and mysteries—the presentation is dreadful. I had high hopes and bought it merely because of its intriguing premise. However, this doesn't mean that the developers can let everything else fall by the wayside. Yes, the story of this game includes rape, sexual cheating, paedophilia, blackmail, various forms of violence, and suicide. But these aren't presented directly. There is no tutorial or guidance. You're left completely in the dark about what to do. No one points you to where the story progresses. You need to spend the first 5-6 hours of this game planting, mining, greeting people, and talking to them. It's just too tedious, too slow, and too repetitive.

现在有官方中文了，玩起来舒服多了。游戏本身指引很少，可以改键位，自带的游戏攻略要读清楚。摸索清楚后玩起来还是挺好玩的。 可以种地，钓鱼，战斗，下矿，做饭，赚钱，换装，攻略npc，探索隐藏黑暗剧情。开局的谜语人暗示着平静的表象下隐藏着邪恶（但是剧情也就那样，没多带劲）。npc好感度是推动剧情的重要部分，但不是所有人都很重要。你的下一款星露谷又何必是星露谷。没有特别优秀，但总体不错，没什么bug，值得一玩的小游戏。 下面是一点攻略，或者说是经验心得。（包含剧透！！！） 开局职业相差不大，建议选择会计职业，赚钱快一点点。开局的提示有翻页，认真看完。 开局先种地，春天买生菜，夏天买草莓（若刷到商店老板1星开启了西瓜种子则买西瓜），秋天买菠菜，冬天忘了。除了放种子必须要体力，锄地浇水可以透支体力。吃东西会回体力，透支了体力没法恢复，走路速度变慢，第二天起床初始体力减半。有了机器人后大部分浇水可以省略，升级水壶蓄力浇水更轻松。 同时去地图上方密林收集体力草药（共5枚），有多余体力就下矿，需要有体力才有收获。3层找找会有老鼠，使用后直返地面，要深入就存一个在身上。矿石可以卖。铜，金，锡可以升级工具。 建议先升级锤子（5000r，1铜）（矿洞内锤墙概率获得，狩猎场西南角宝箱内有1铜）（可以砸石头、打怪），然后下矿，上下楼梯sl刷好走的楼梯，到20层，找到直返梯子，在20＋层刷金子，升3级金锤子，然后升级斧头，也要3级，可以砍树桩子，实现采石头、木头自由，开始大量刷npc好感。接着考虑升级水壶，镰刀，鱼竿。锄头、弓箭作用不大。工具都能打怪，升级后可以蓄力打。 日常活动（主要是使用工具）可以获得经验，升级后，可以在入睡后选择升级技能。经验总量有限，不要什么技能都点。 装备不多，基本是开宝箱给的，有一些属性加成，可以改变外观，算是时装装备二合一。 npc各有喜恶。给了护符后可以追踪npc的位置，刷好感可以解锁新道具、获得剧情线索等，大部分npc前期刷好感可以送石头木头，但要注意有人讨厌： 讨厌石头：玛蒂尔达，彭妮，艾丽丝，瓦伦蒂娜 讨厌木头：玛蒂尔达，肯，李 打败40层boss后有楼梯可以直接返回地面，在39层利用机器人怪物的炸弹的延迟性，拿起来再丢出去炸矿，刷珍贵宝石卖钱。（钻石、红宝石、火蛋白石、翡翠、黄金） 解锁了蘑菇山洞可以种蘑菇，由亚当好感事件获得规则是： 每个蘑菇周围保持2-3个蘑菇，少了不长新的，多了蘑菇就没了。可以大量种蘑菇（把灰蘑菇放山洞地上就行）赚钱，但是要每天收，很麻烦我不喜欢。 男号只能和女的结婚，女号只能和男的结婚。但是我没发现结婚有什么好处。各有一个隐藏可攻略角色，由好感剧情做完任务后解锁。 摸索出的npc喜好： 丹尼：（神父家人）（水井下的剑，给一个衣服；古墓日记，boss战，他成为恶魔） 亚当：苹果蘑菇，啤酒花（小男孩）（生日秋季3号） 伯纳黛特：定时花<晚上9点后开花>（大农场女主人，卖动物，镇长好感3星可打折） 克拉伦斯：（丧女夫妻） 军：银子（商店老板）（3星商品打折）（生日春季22号） 凯恩：（木匠）（木匠下毒事件：把瓶子给木匠，加1w钱，加1罪恶） 剧院男：苹果，柿子（冬天才到旅馆）（讨厌金子） 加布里埃尔：（黑人警长）（可攻略） 医生：硫（讨厌油脂） 尼斯科：（神父）（讨厌金子，应该是讨厌贵重物品） 彭妮：（饭店老板）（讨厌石头、硝、硫、铜）（生日冬季12号） 托拜厄斯：蜂蜜酒（流浪汉，秘密很多）（1星坠崖事件给1蓝锡矿，2星告知山顶有秘密山洞，3星告知炸药配方<秘密山洞需要炸药，炸药需要花生，花生打藤条怪几率掉落>） 拉扎勒斯：蓝锡（铁匠）（周三不工作。木匠下毒事件：把瓶子给铁匠，木匠房子归肯，给两个蓝锡） 探员：银子，啤酒（一般） 李：金子，苹果蘑菇（家暴事件）（讨厌木头） 杰森：体力药草，苹果，玉米（小孩家长）（生日秋季18号） 梅：翡翠（商店老板的女儿）（生日冬季20号） 爱丽丝：啤酒（麦克妻子，酗酒事件后离婚可攻略） 玛莎：（丧女夫妻）（裁缝）（讨厌油脂、铜、铁） 玛蒂尔达：锆石（李的老婆）（讨厌石头、木头、硝、硫，可以送篱笆） 瓦伦蒂娜：金子（小孩家长，讨厌石头、铁、硝、硫、油脂） 盖瑞：啤酒（小农场姐弟，生日秋季5号，讨厌石头，帮付2w还债后可攻略） 约修亚：钻石（旅馆老板） 罗伯特：（大农场男主人，2星给啤酒配方） 肯：金子（铁匠孙子，讨厌木头）（生日冬季9号） 艾米丽：火蛋白石（讨厌石头）（旅馆老板的女儿） 莉莉：（小女孩）（讨厌苹果蘑菇，正好和亚当不一样）（生日秋季3号） 菲欧娜：红宝石（饭店老板女儿，讨厌啤酒） 詹姆斯：（旅馆老板儿子） 镇长：硝，钻石，蔓越莓（讨厌锆石）（生日夏季18号）（他自己说喜欢蔓越莓，煮甜菜，最喜欢甘蓝炖菜） 雷吉娜：（教堂上方小农场姐弟） 麦克：银子（爱丽丝丈夫，酗酒事件给他酒瓶后离婚，住在旅馆，可攻略，讨厌啤酒，油脂） 重要事件：（含剧透！！！）（各种隐藏剧情，摆脱种地，提高游戏体验） 机器人：五星事件。开启自动化，浇水小助手。越早拿到越好。 锤子砸开工作台（水池上方房间）右边有裂纹的地板，跟随机器人往农场左边的狩猎场山洞，前期来说小难，里面怪物较多boss较厉害，建议装备、药品、武器准备好，注意走位躲伤害。最好先提一下锤子武器的等级。（注意：没体力无法攻击！！！） 弓箭比赛：三星事件。送弓箭。但是本游戏打怪几乎不需要弓箭，4级锤子打天下。 修理码头：五星事件。开启航海。开启潜水的前置事件。 晚上去镇长家，花费1w。左侧瀑布内有隐藏山洞，两个宝箱。右侧深山一个宝箱，前期优秀装备。 商店打折：三星事件。省一点点钱，蚊子腿也是肉。 商店老板好感刷满，商店9折；镇长好感刷满，农场9折。 背包拓展：五星事件。增加背包和道具容积。 升级后选择技能囤积者+2，商店4000r（折前）+4，10000r（折前）+4，商店老板女儿梅好感3星＋2 。 潜水装备：四星事件。开启潜水。 铁匠孙子肯好感3星，给图纸自己做。需要开船，从船上点交互键下海。可以摸海底宝箱，摸珍珠。珍珠卖钱，戒指给医生。海底消耗氧气、体力，不消耗时间。 各种山洞：打boss，解锁秘密内容，解锁道路。 大石头要4级锤子，木桩要4级斧子。机器人山洞在制造房裂口地板处，用锤子砸开，前期升级装备小心走位即可通过。 最先狩猎场东南木桩地洞，用水壶取毒水，下方水池内有特殊鱼种。 狩猎场西北野猪林山洞，用毒水阻止史莱姆王回血。 教堂下方山洞，用毒水消灭拦路藤蔓，走廊中间墙壁可打破，深处棺材内日记可以给尼尔。 旅馆后方山顶密林，炸药炸开塌方山石，炸药配方流浪汉3星给与，特别注意：制作材料需要花生。 相片事件：用密码纸打开旅馆保险箱获得相片。 送镇长，获得1暗影梅1蓝锡；送其他人，加1罪恶。 藏宝图： 亚当2星好感获得藏宝图。 地点在狩猎场，上楼梯左边空地，野猪和植物怪左边，飞虫上方。对照藏宝图用锄头挖出宝箱获得钱。 魔化丹尼： 把日记给丹尼，邀请你午夜12点去教堂左下方空地。剧情后Boss战，丹尼剧情杀。自动回家睡觉。 （冬天演员三星好感给一个“完美的球体”，描述可以避免黑暗侵蚀。合理怀疑带着这个或者送给丹尼可以避免剧情杀。做这个剧情时还没到冬天没试过。） 神秘的石头：击败魔化丹尼后获得。早上醒来自动掉在早上吃早饭的地板上要记得捡。 丹尼在餐馆时会把玩，会提到，但不给你。 送给每个村民的对话都不一样，不会消失。和演员对话获得提示。 炸开山顶洞穴后，带着可以在山洞内部右上墙壁发现隐藏洞口。按交互键开门。 地底魔潭： 无罪恶：和魔化探长战斗。剧情后，和恶魔之手战斗。进入剧情。主线完。仍然可以继续游玩，失去神秘石头，演员对话发生改变。 有？格罪恶：没试过，应该是恶魔线。据说会更有意思 希望大家享受在格里恩高地的时光：）

Cara, esse jogo se inspira muito em twin peaks, e sendo uma das minhas séries favoritas, foi uma grata surpresa. Os diálogos dos personagens sao muito bons, sempre me tira boas risadas. Ainda tô começando, nao sei muito sobre a história do jogo, mas desde ja to achando ótimo.

Controls were really rough. I'm a big fan of farming sims as well as horror content, so I was really hoping I'd get to see some of that. The keyboard controls are extremly difficult to get a feel for and with so little happening in the almost 6 hours I played, I really couldn't get an idea what I was really working towards along with just having a general difficult time with navigation to the point it was frustrating and had to drop it.

[h3]Don't trust the negative review, it's probably from kids who have only known Stardew Valley their whole lives.[/h3] I love Stardew Valley, but I won't compare Gleaner Heights with SV. Gleaner Heights is a slower-paced farming game, it has a more a darker approach to the story and gameplay depth is more simpler. This game meat is it has so much mystery to be found, I find the progression quite enjoyable after getting used to the slow pace. I like that even though this game doesn't have any portraits the villager dialogue is very expressive, they're all has their own [spoiler] Serious [/spoiler] problem, It's quite easy remembering them even without any portrait. My only downside for this game so far is this game bit buggy, but it's not that bad if you find the workaround. I think kids that keep comparing this game to SV need to chill. You guys need to play the game from different viewpoint and stop comparing any farming game with SV. Also complaining the game is slow is just silly, kids these days just lack patience I tell you.. This game honestly needs more love because I can see how much love the developer poured into it. I hope I will see another farming game like this from the same developer someday.

So here we go with another stardew clone farming RPG, on the outside it kind of looks like stardew Valley and plays a lot like it but once you delve deeper into it you'll notice that the game has its own dark charm to it, you do all the farming and upkeep you would expect to do from a stardew Valley type game, but I do think that this one here stands out as a different game just due to the unique theme it has, Graphics are done real well the music is tolerable and not the best but not bad, gameplay is excellent it is a very fun game to play with plenty to do definitely something I would pick up if the price is right even for the asking price it's a good buy. 8/10

This game is simply bad on every level. While I enjoyed it, it's frankly just a poor Harvest Moon clone with a plot blatantly ripped off from Twin Peaks. The developer clearly hasn't played not only Stardew Valley, but any single good game on PC, because the PC controls are abysmal. For example, you can't even enter your character's name from a keyboard; you have to click each individual letter with a mouse.

[h1]If you like Twin Peaks, You'll Love This. [/h1] This is the closest we'll ever get to a Twin Peaks video game, I'm convinced, lol. I absolutely LOVE it. There's a few things I think people need to know going in, however: [h3]This game does not tell you what to do.[/h3] [h3]This game is very old school, in a good way.[/h3] [h3]This game is SLOW- you cannot rush it.[/h3] [h3]There are blue flowers that only sprout after 21:00 hours. Pick them, and they make GREAT early gifts.[/h3] There are things hidden in Gleaner Heights, but to find these things out, you need to befriend the people. This is not something you'll complete in Spring of year one; events take time to unfold, but that's fine, because this is a [b]farming game[/b]. Try not to forget that you're here to farm! You have a LOT to do while waiting for all the secrets to unfold! Plant crops, fish, mine, upgrade your farm, clean it up, build up your skills, fight monsters. DO THINGS. Befriending people will unlock information, clues about who you need to befriend next, and slowly unravel the events surrounding the town. You need to actually explore, as well; there is no journal with quests to tell you where to go, who to talk to, what to do next. The world is your oyster. You can stick your head in the sand and just farm till the end of the world, or you can put the work in to sniff out the insanity that's happening in Gleaner Heights. And boy, is it insane. And dark. Be ready for some VERY adult themes; this is not Harvest Moon. Don't let your 8 year old play this, lol. There's murder, dr*gs, and other very adult topics. Also your character has a SIN metric, and I'll just say this now, [i]not all of the marriage candidates are available right away[/i]. Guess you'll just have to figure out why.

It is odd and mysterious in that weird and slightly attractive way. A solid and strange farming sim. 8+/10.

This game is different and at first seems very boring or like its not very complex or fun. But if you stick it out and keep playing it becomes very fun and it starts opening up into a very great game that is hard to walk away from. My only problem with it is that perk menu crash. It really sucks and makes leveling up a bad thing for me.
