great game, took me a little bit to get used to the mechanics but once you do it has a ton of depth and satisfying secrets to find. can be pretty challenging too
Plays like Link's Awakening/Oracle of Seasons/Ages but with a bigger focus on combat and platforming, and less on puzzles. Overall it's competently done and fun, but I feel like the format isn't really suited for it. Even after playing through the game 4 times to get all the achievements, fighting enemies and bosses still feels awkward, especially at different elevation levels. All the weapons are fun to use, and most trinkets feel useful, even if situationally. I enjoyed cycling through different loadouts to fit the challenges I was facing, or just to experiment. Boss fights are cool, but the last few ones felt like they sacrificed some fairness for challenge.

Y no es simplemente una copia y pega, pues mezcla el clásico hack and slash de Super Nintendo, con mecánicas contemporáneas y puzles ingeniosos, y hasta ciertos elementos de Metroidvaina. Con una narrativa bien integrada a la jugabilidad, cero pretensiones, adecuadas dosis de humor y con ese pixel art de 8-bits clásicos que tan bien ha envejecido con el más fino vino. Y a pesar de su simpleza, créeme que no vas a querer dejar de jugarlo. Este juego es hasta el momento, mi candidato favorito a Juego del Año, y no es exagerar. Propone ideas frescas de conceptos clásicos que han probado funcionar, no es un titán de cientos de horas y es prácticamente un indie y su precio es de lo más asequible. Así que, si estabas buscando algo para jugar este fin de semana, ¡este es mi recomendado! ¡Agradéceme después!
Il y a tellement de nouvelles idées qui renouvellent le plaisir de jeu dans chacune des zones! J'ai été surpris qu'un jeu en vue du dessus maîtrise aussi bien la plateforme, aussi. L'exploration est vraiment gratifiante, les armes changent le gameplay, le style graphique est pleinement maîtrisé et la musique enchaîne les dingueries. Que du bon. Joué et fini sur Steam Deck dans aucun problème.
Great game. Extremely polished world and design. Everywhere you go is the correct way and it feels great to organically discovered locations. While initially I was excited about a the prospect of Yacht Club game's take on the classic GBA Zelda style and gameplay they committed hard to the combat and skill based tests for extra rewards rather than puzzles and navigation. What it comes down to is that this is a combat focused game that gives you free reign to explore the world and find it's secrets but it's dungeon puzzles are non-existent focusing more on combat and set pieces.
After beating the game once, it has a built-in randomizer and tons and tons of other little modifications to play the game how you wanna play it. I'm on my second play through right now, with all the item locations and shops randomized. It's a whole new game and I love it so much! Great game with a great story and amazing mechanics. Very satisfying.
If you give a mouse a glock wit a drum on it
Solid game but I wish they changed the falling mechanic of putting you so far when you drop in a pit and one other thing about the whole losing souls when dying its more annoying than a deterrent. However overall the game extremely polished and I would recommend to other Metroidvania lovers
