This game lowkey kinda nice. Arthur out of 10
This is like top 3 favourite fighting games for me. The characters are fun and the assist and element system are super cool once you learn how they work but dont expect to find anyone online and even if you do you gotta deal with delay netcode
This game is more dead than my friend who called Goku a ♥♥♥♥♥ in front of a cartel member, but it has Iori Yagami and Nice ♥♥♥♥ assist so this is an S tier fighting game.
Solid game but the online is a void so only get it on sale to experience the single player content
its not opening i want to play i was trying to get it to full screen and then it kicked me out and now wont open :(
iori yagami in an examu game so its gotta be good
Million Arthur: Arcana Blood is a fast-paced 2D fighting game developed by Square Enix and Team ARCANA, with Square Enix serving as the publisher. Drawing inspiration from the long-running Million Arthur franchise, the game transforms its fantasy universe into an action-packed competitive fighter that combines anime-inspired visuals, fluid mechanics, and an impressive roster of heroes and rivals. Whether players are already familiar with the series or stepping into its world for the first time, the game succeeds in delivering an entertaining blend of accessible gameplay and strategic depth that captures the excitement of classic arcade fighters. The game's premise centers on a fractured Britain where multiple individuals have drawn different versions of Excalibur, each becoming an Arthur destined to compete for the title of the rightful king. While the narrative primarily serves as a backdrop for the battles, it provides enough personality and context to distinguish each character. Every fighter enters the tournament with unique motivations, relationships, and dialogue, giving story mode a sense of charm without slowing down the overall pacing. Fans of the franchise will appreciate the crossover interactions and references, while newcomers can still follow the straightforward narrative without feeling lost. Gameplay is where Million Arthur: Arcana Blood truly shines. Battles are built around responsive controls, quick movement, aerial combat, and satisfying combo systems that reward both precise execution and tactical decision-making. Beginners can quickly grasp the fundamentals thanks to intuitive controls and helpful tutorials, while experienced fighting game players will discover advanced mechanics that encourage mastery over time. Every character feels distinct, with individual fighting styles, special techniques, and devastating super moves that keep matches unpredictable and exciting. The combat remains consistently energetic, encouraging players to experiment with different strategies instead of relying on repetitive tactics. One of the game's standout features is its Support Knight system, which allows players to select assist characters before each match. These support fighters can be summoned during battle to launch attacks, interrupt opponents, extend combos, or create defensive opportunities. This mechanic significantly expands the strategic possibilities by allowing players to customize their team composition around their preferred playstyle. Finding effective combinations between main fighters and support characters adds an enjoyable layer of experimentation, making every match feel unique while increasing the game's replay value. The character roster offers a satisfying mix of heroes from across the Million Arthur universe alongside several recognizable guest characters from other franchises. Each combatant has been carefully designed with expressive hand-drawn sprites, fluid animations, and spectacular special effects that emphasize the game's anime-inspired presentation. The artistic direction remains one of the strongest aspects of the experience, as every attack bursts with vibrant visual effects while maintaining excellent readability during fast-paced encounters. Combined with polished voice acting and energetic music, the overall presentation creates the feeling of playing through an interactive anime battle. Offline players have plenty to enjoy thanks to a respectable collection of game modes that include Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Training, Versus, Score Attack, and various practice options. The training mode is particularly valuable for players interested in mastering advanced mechanics, allowing them to practice combos, movement, and character-specific techniques without pressure. Although the amount of single-player content is not as extensive as some modern fighting games, the available modes are polished and provide enough variety to keep players engaged while learning the roster. Multiplayer is naturally the heart of the experience, as the game's balanced mechanics and deep combat system are best appreciated against human opponents. Every match becomes a contest of timing, spacing, and adaptation, rewarding players who understand both their own character and their opponent's capabilities. The only notable drawback today is the relatively small online player base, which can make matchmaking less active than newer fighting games. Fortunately, local multiplayer remains an excellent option, and dedicated communities continue to organize matches for fans who want to experience the game's competitive potential. Overall, Million Arthur: Arcana Blood is an overlooked fighting game that deserves far more recognition than it received. Its combination of polished combat, visually stunning animation, memorable characters, and creative support mechanics results in an engaging experience that appeals to both anime fighting game enthusiasts and fans of the Million Arthur franchise. While the limited online population and somewhat modest single-player offerings prevent it from reaching the highest tier of the genre, the quality of its gameplay more than compensates for those shortcomings. Players seeking a technically rewarding and visually striking 2D fighter will find plenty to enjoy in this hidden gem. Rating: 8/10
