For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a tightly assembled puzzle-platforming package that shows how a relatively straightforward mechanical idea can support several distinct adventures. Developed and published by WayForward, it combines four entries into one collection, bringing together Mighty Switch Force!, its Hyper Drive Edition, Mighty Switch Force! 2, and Mighty Switch Force! Academy. Although all four share a recognizable identity, each approaches the basic formula differently enough to make the package feel like a progression rather than four interchangeable variations. At the center of the experience is cybernetic peacekeeper Officer Patricia Wagon, whose assignments take place across colorful stages filled with criminals, hazards, environmental puzzles, and unusual characters. Her defining ability comes from the Siren Helmet, which can shift designated blocks between the foreground and background. What initially seems like a simple environmental trick quickly becomes the foundation for increasingly elaborate puzzles. Platforms can disappear beneath Patricia, new routes can materialize instantly, and enemies can become part of the solution depending on when and where the player activates the switch. The strongest aspect of the gameplay is the relationship between puzzle solving and platforming execution. Recognizing the correct sequence of switches is important, but knowing the solution does not automatically guarantee success. Many situations require accurate jumping and carefully timed activation of blocks while simultaneously accounting for enemies and hazards. Launch Blocks and Force Field Blocks further complicate navigation, helping the collection maintain variety throughout its more than 70 stages. The difficulty generally develops naturally as familiar concepts are combined in increasingly demanding arrangements. The original adventure establishes this structure particularly well as Patricia pursues the troublesome Hooligan Sisters. Her Pellet Gun gives her a straightforward offensive option, but combat never overwhelms the puzzle-oriented design. Enemies frequently function as moving components within environmental challenges rather than merely targets that need to be eliminated. Hyper Drive Edition revisits much of this foundation with an enhanced HD presentation and additional challenges. Having both versions creates some repetition, but it also provides a useful look at two interpretations of the same core adventure. The second main installment changes the context without abandoning the mechanics that define the series. Patricia replaces her usual weapon with a fire hose while attempting to control a dangerous blaze and rescue people caught in the disaster. Fire becomes another environmental concern, and the altered equipment gives familiar interactions a refreshing variation. It is an effective example of a sequel modifying the player's immediate objectives while preserving the responsive platforming and switching puzzles that made the original engaging. Academy provides the most substantial structural change. Its stages are larger and designed around an HD presentation, while cooperative and competitive modes support up to four players. This transforms a game normally centered on individual precision into something considerably more social and chaotic. Shared and split-screen multiplayer are supported, along with Remote Play Together, making Academy especially suitable for groups. Cooperation can produce entertaining moments because several players attempting to coordinate movements and environmental switches naturally creates situations that would never occur during solitary play. Another major source of longevity comes from completing stages as quickly as possible. Finishing a level is satisfying, but mastering it can become a completely different challenge. Once a player understands every puzzle, the focus changes from discovery to optimization. Hesitation gradually disappears as jumps, switches, attacks, and environmental interactions are connected into increasingly efficient sequences. This emphasis makes the package particularly attractive to speedrunners and players who enjoy improving their own performance rather than simply reaching the ending. The visual identity remains consistently charming throughout the collection. Bright colors, expressive characters, pixel-art influences, and energetic HD artwork give the games a personality that fits their deliberately lighthearted approach to futuristic law enforcement. Characters with bizarre names such as Ugly Twitching Dog and Ugly Secret Baby reinforce the playful tone. The soundtrack is similarly energetic and works especially well with the rapid pace of repeated stage attempts. Even when a puzzle becomes difficult, the audiovisual presentation prevents failure from feeling excessively punishing or gloomy. There are some drawbacks. Players primarily interested in exploration or substantial storytelling may find the stage-based structure relatively narrow. The switching mechanic also remains the centerpiece across the package, so anyone who does not enjoy its mixture of spatial puzzles and precise timing may find repetition setting in. Including both the original game and Hyper Drive Edition inevitably produces overlapping material as well. These concerns are less significant for players who enjoy chasing better times, solving every challenge, earning achievements, or experimenting with multiplayer. Steam Deck compatibility deserves some qualification. The collection's Steam store page does not currently display an official Steam Deck Verified or Playable rating, so it should not be presented as officially Deck-certified. Its gameplay style and Steam controller-oriented features make it conceptually well suited to handheld play, and the separately released Hyper Drive Edition has received a Steam Deck Verified assessment according to SteamDB. Nevertheless, compatibility for the complete collection should be regarded as unofficial unless Valve assigns the collection itself a Deck rating. Players specifically purchasing it for Steam Deck should therefore keep that distinction in mind. Overall, this is an appealing compilation for anyone who enjoys puzzle platformers built around short, carefully constructed challenges. The clever foreground-background switching mechanic remains its greatest achievement, but the changing objectives, firefighting mechanics, multiplayer Academy stages, colorful presentation, and speedrunning focus prevent the collection from relying on that idea alone. Some duplicated material and the intentionally focused stage structure keep it from being universally appealing, yet the quality and consistency of its puzzle design make it easy to recommend to genre enthusiasts. Rating: 8/10

Está bien chida la prota w
Quite a solid collection! Main issue I found was that the original game felt unneeded in the collection since the Hyperdrive collection just provides more along with the exact same level layouts from the original. Some of those levels were really stressful too I cannot lie, but completing the par times was really rewarding and I mostly enjoyed it all. Solitary Game Rankings: MSF 1 - C tier, pretty solid overall, but once again unnecessary MSF 2 - B tier, while I didn't care a ton for the water hose instead of the regular gun and some of the gimmicks were annoying it was at least unique MSF HD - A tier, looks the best and has the best content (no offense to the pixel art, I do just prefer the style of HD). Some of those extra levels kinda suck though lol. MSF Academy - D Tier, unless you can get anyone to play with you it is a pain to play on your own... I had to cheat in all the co-op achievements just to get them all because I knew I wouldn't get 4 people to play this.
