Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You can so easily, and multiple times per game, get soft-locked and cannot continue further; hope you saved recently! I used to play this as a kid (M&M III) with my cousins and siblings, we would hotseat and play against each other, battles would be like 20 - 30 minutes long with each other, if not hour or so, once our full armies met. I still have fun playing this game, but the mechanics literally soft-lock you. It has gotten annoying enough to the point I am typing out this review. If that says anything, you should heed it because I love Heroes, but this game is just pissing me off.
TL;DR
If you came from HOMM2 or HOMM3, this ain't it. Play this game if for some reason you already own it and you just want the novelty. Pros: Some actually good ideas (tho I don't know if these were Heroes IV-VI). I'm coming form II/III. Adventure once/day is fun. The Necro campaign had you with fire mastery w/ very weak units, but you could clear out very powerful enemies with the Fire Adventure spell. That was neat. Some units are cool: The centuar archers being able to move then attack or attack then move as two separate commands is fun. Retaliating ranged monks? Cool. Special abilities usable once per combat? Neat. Cons: You need to be online to play b/c of Ubisoft rules, which means if you DC for too long it will quit in you even in single player. That same Necro campaign w/t he fire mastery has you vs wizards w/ magic immune gargoyles. It's just really tedious to cast shields on your dude and wack a stack of 300 gargoyles for several turns because your might is so low. BugsSeveral though vary in severity but overall making it feel unpolished. For a game that requires you to be online you'd expect these to be patched out. Some of these include the game crashing on you, of if you wait with hotkey W in combat too quickly, you get a visual bug. Sometimes the mouse in combat disappears so you need to guess which angle you are attacking form. Caravans can have units you can't access (that you've paid for and waited to be delivered). AI is also extremely stupid when it comes to fire wall, making it the most powerful spell in the game until you hit max tier magic. Campaigns: A couple neat ideas here and there, but overall mechanically boring, and I've completed all but 2 factions. I'm going to keep going Necropolis is the worst. You barely get to use the undead units because you are usually in wizard or haven territories. I enjoyed Orc campaign the most. On normal mode, I expect to be able to explore around, not have any map knowledge, but still win because I know how to play strategy games. This is not the case on certain, esp necro maps. The way certain evens trigger is based on the position of your hero, which means you can trigger certain events extremely early or late, trivializing the campaign or just making it extremely difficult. They don't tell you all of the objectives at the beginning. Instead, they can piecemeal if as you progress. If there's a time limit and you've been just enjoying exploring/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, you can complete all the listed objectives within the time limit and still fail because of either a) a hidden objective e.g. killing all enemy units, or b) time needs to pass before they tell you the next objective. These are not hard maps, but needing to redo because of a bad map trigger or because you thought you had plenty of time is unfun. Balance: This is Might OR Magic, not Might AND Magic. Magic builds makes auto-combat more risky, and therefore the more tedious route. Warcries fills the same position as Hero Attack and Spells, so I never found a convincing time to use them when just nuking an enemy felt better. Spells are weak unless you spec really hard into them. Some Heroes don't have a very good balance of skill available to you. The Skill tree/wheel is interesting, but it doesn't allow for you to customize your hero as much. Or rather, every hero has a pre-determined playstyle. But if your playstyle is incompatible, or you don't have the spells to support it or whatever, then it's just a bad hero. In HOMM3, you could have an Estates specialist be yoru strongest hero b/c any hero can learn expert [element] magic, offense, defense, sorcery, and other powerful skills. In this game, you could have a Might hero who only has warcries, leadership, and warfare. Ok great paper thin units that have repeat turns but dont' even do that much damage. Maybe I didn't spec into warcries enough, but something else always felt better.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Only language available for Ukraine is russian- are u kidding me??!!
Not as good as the 3rd and the 5th but it's nice regardless
seems broken now
The game itself is phenomenal. Great graphics, great carry of the lore, great new functions, great UI, great coding for a nice smooth game, and just a really great adventure. I get it, people don't like 3rd party launchers and I understand why. Times have changed though folks, and everyone is competing for your hard earned dollars. Epic games is sitting there trying to compete with steam by giving away free games. The monster steam is the black dragon of this genre; invincible to magic, over 400 health and when it attacks it sprays its fury in a cone shape, damaging multiple creatures in that cone of doom. Not only that, but creatures affected by that attack suffer half damage when they begin their next turn and 25% damage the turn after. There's so many tiny little, intricate and subtle things about this game which really dives into not only having a leveled out hero but choosing which units to utilize based on said hero's current abilities, because you'll definitely be using more than one hero. The tech tree is wild with its depth, yet totally makes sense. The creatures are so well defined and unique but totally work with the lore and are amazingly well balanced. It's a shame that 3rd party launchers exist, and this game itself is a testament about why it's a bad business strategy. Although the game runs smoothly, you can kind of tell that everything you do (even in a single player campaign), is not locally saved. Everything you do is uploaded and saved through ubisoft. If it's working, (and I personally haven't had any issues yet but I would be upset if I did), then all is good. However, I heard that the launcher and ubisoft in general has had a lot of problems with their execution and maintenance of their platform. I'm not a technical gamer wiz but I'd venture to say that if I wanted to play a single player game I bought; I wouldn't want to have some requirement to be online to play it. Not sure that's the case here, and if it is, that's a damn shame because this game, (especially for HOMM fans), is like HOMM5 with even more features and even more eye candy; even more depth. It's HOMM5 on steroids basically and everything is there that you want to be there; if you're a true fan I guess. Hats off to the developers and coders and artists and designers and writers and voice actors and everything else I'm too dumb to know about. The game itself is a true masterpiece in the HOMM series and solidifies itself, at least for me, as a solid addition to the series.

Седьмая часть некогда легендарной серии, которая пытается развивать ее, меняя классические механики. Фанаты как всегда говнятся, так что новых частей Героев мы не видим с тех пор уже 10 лет
