About
Midnight Snack is a short and surreal first-person horror game where you wander through an eerie forest using the dials of a microwave.
Alternative and experimental control scheme.
Retro/Pixelart 3D visuals.
Short and sweet, the game takes about 30 minutes to complete.
The controls are integrated into the interface itself, modeled after the dials of a conventional microwave. The bottom dial controls the camera direction, while the top dial determines how long the player moves. Once the time has been set, the controls are locked until the top dial stops turning, so be careful.
To interact with the dials, only the mouse is required.
The player must use these unconventional controls to navigate a strange environment in search of a snack, avoiding various obstacles.
The game takes place in the protagonist's recurring nightmare.
In this nightmare, the protagonist wakes up hungry in the middle of the night, viewing the world from the perspective of a microwave.
Before reaching the kitchen, he must navigate through a dark and eerie setting, even being attacked within the dream manifestations of his guilt.
Finally, upon reaching the kitchen and opening the microwave on the table, he will find an unpleasant surprise.

It is free, it is deeply weird, and it wraps up exactly when it needs to without overstaying its welcome. Absolutely worth a download if you want a tight, highly unique indie experience.
The monster itself isn’t physically scary, but the sound of its footsteps always feels close, which really raises the tension and gets ur heart racing (ㅎᴗㅎᵕ) On another note, the walking mechanic is very unique and a must-try experience! What's more, it's free! U can also easily get all achievements under 1h!

Experiencia de terror corta con un modo de control bastante particular, lo cual te puede poner un poco nervioso si, por alguna razón, tenés que moverte rápido. Está bastante bien.

This game has a cool gameplay mechanic but that's really it
Cute game
proof that you can make a creative game out of literally anything, even a microwave.
Очень крутая игра, что по идее, что по геймплею. Невероятно круто, когда даже в менюшке у тебя аналоговые крутилки
P.O.V.: You're microwave, but scary. HMMMMMMM... DING!
Buen juego, me senti asombrado con cuando vi por partes separadas el cuerpo de uno de mis amigos y como casi luego viene el otro correteandome, eso me causo un poco de escalofrios
