Peglin as a rhythm game! It's got that "just one more run" feeling locked in. I keep wanting to play again to see if I can make an item interaction work. I easily can guarantee it's worth every cent and more!

Nice little music-related game. You have to play the right notes and battle with them against some "monsters". It's not easy and you have to concentrate a lot for it. But it's quite fun to try over and over. I just played it a couple of minutes but it was fun and I will play it again. Sound and music is (mostly) chill, grafics is a bit like pixelstyle, controls are smooth. Tutorial is there but much taxt to read. Unfortunately I did not get everything at the first time and there is no "back" and "next" button to skip back. Perhaps the developers could add those. Then the game is perfect.
Super addicting! The replayability is great, even if I end up battling the same enemy twice while using the same items, I always end up placing notes in new spots without thinking, so it still feels fresh every time.
currently play a lot of slay the spire and this game combines that with guitar hero which is dope
This was fun. It feels like a solid core to what could be a good paid game. But as it is free I highly recommend giving it a try. I think my favourite aspect of it is that the songs you have to play get more complicated as each "battle" goes on. not because the game is adding notes, but because *you* are. And the songs are short, so they will loop until either you die or the opponent does. You have you four colour/shapes to hit notes with, and once you build up enough juice you can slap down your own note, and it will stay there for you to hit (or hit you) every loop. each colour does something different, and for that one guy who said they can't figure out how to attack: *Red* is the main attack note. Some negatives that can be dismissed because free game!: there is no noise or animation to go with hitting the notes, just small text that drifts up from the key. The character and normal enemies have no animation. there isn't any visual or sound feedback when picking options with dialogue, rewards, or shops.

Loved it a lot! It's very fun and addictive and combines two of my favorite genres (rhythm game and roguelikes) together quite well. The mechanic of placing notes is unique and interesting, it feels a little like you're building out the map yourself as the battle goes on. The relics and notes helps add a lot of replayability and make each run feel fresh. I do wish there were more relics that changed how you play significantly like the chips (makes each note deal a bit of damage) and the triangle (that speeds up the notes). I think those might be also interesting as challenge runs variants after beating the game once (for example, you get chips as your starting relic but no placeable notes). It would also be nice to have an achievement for beating the tutorial boss.
One of the most fun rhythm games I've played! The rogue-like elements add a new level of strategy and replayability with every playthrough. The battles are fun and there is a bunch of events that are inspired by games like Slay The Spire if you are a fan of that. Definitely worthy of a 10/10 game for sure.
