cool game bit to expensive
My first flight sim ever (the closest I got was War Thunder in Realistic), and I do not regret buying it. The game can be gorgeous, especially while in flight - while walking it really depends on the area, obviously, there will be a lot of details missed when you try to simulate the entire Earth. I mostly fly in Free Flight, since I'm not a hardcore simulator nut, and I find the sim very relaxing to play in this way. I don't think there's another sim with this much variety that also looks this good and has such a large "map", the alternatives did not look so convincing for my goals. That being said, there is a LOT to improve in MSFS2024, so please make sure to look at other reviews before you buy. This will probably be the most demanding "game" on your system. You will also experience some bugs, and from up close you will realize that some things, like water are mostly just an illusion. There is also the fact that a lot of large buildings will look like melted cheeze from up close, which may be corrected by purchasing one of the thousands of mods from the marketplace. While I understand that you can't handcraft every large building that can be found on the entirety of this planet, it is still somewhat frustrating, when the perfect update for a city, sight or airport will cost you an additional few bucks. At least items often go on a discount, but I still find locking things such as powerlines or most birds you could see behind a paywall somewhat greedy. If that still does not discourage you, and if you are like me and you love (the idea of) exploring our planet, the different weather on it, flying in real time with real (current) weather conditions, visiting places where you would not fly IRL for one reason or another, and of course, taking screenshots of the genuinely beautiful scenery, then MSFS2024 might be for you.

An incredible level of detailed game with beautiful graphics (just think to first scale your graphics settings)
Way better experience from MSFS2020. Was definitely worth the switch, performance in multiple aircraft (incl. A350, A320s etc.) is way better than it used to be in MSFS2020, plus the base game looks way better and takes less storage unlike 2020. Definitely worth the buy especially during sale!
