Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 16.86/day in the week to Aug 19 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

- needs fast Internet connection at all times - no longer allows for manual local cache - higher base hardware requirements - Dune DLC is locked to MSFS2020 (cannot be played in 2024. Ornithopter also not available) - Top Gun DLC also not available (though you do get the F/A-18 Super Hornet with the Standard Edition) + smaller hard drive footprint + migrates almost all your MSFS2020 Premium/Deluxe and Marketplace content to your MS2024 Edition (very rare compatibility exceptions) + allows partial 'base content' installs + updated physics (compared to MSFS2020) + integrated flight planning and tracking (EFB) + has more animals + active forest fires ... + ... which you can fight from a firefighting airplane + real-time ship tracking + career mode (which many players complain about being broken - I do not know myself) + dynamic seasons + improved lighting, clouds, terrain + raytraced shadows (optional) + Stranger Things (promotional DLC) ... which gives you the Huey and is surprisingly well done and fun to play + Red Bull Race mode is free (was paid DLC in 2020) + continued regular free updates and support If you are considering MSFS2024 you HAVE to have a FAST INTERNET CONNECTION. (at least 50Mbps or above). The best CPU/GPU is useless without it. Otherwise, the visual quality will be inconsistent and even poor at times. This version has completely shifted to a cloud-streaming-first approach, despite still having a 'rolling cache' on your PC. In 2020 you could download almost everything locally and avoid slower connection issues. You have no longer the 'manual cache' option (which allowed you permanently store high-quality LODs locally). In MSFS2024 you still have the option to download content from the Marketplace locally. It also allows now to selectively download 'Base Content' - so you can avoid huge file sizes, if you do not want particular airports or other content that is eating up your hard drive. OR ... you can choose to download "1GB of sheep" (yes. 'Sheep' as in 'animal'), etc. Further, on the technical side, apparently, the game is now better optimized to take advantage of your CPU cores. I take that at face value. On my old AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (8c/16t) I am running both MSFS versions and cannot tell one way or another. I do see that MSFS2024 is more hardware-hungry though. I owned the MS Store version of MSFS2020 and bought the Steam version of MSFS2024. The game merged my XBOX and Steam accounts and authenticated my purchase of the previous (Deluxe) version. It then authenticated and unlocked the available content in MSFS2024. I have had no issues with the login procedure on Win11. You do need a MS/XBOX Live account and connect it to Steam to play MSFS2024 either way.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I used to fly helicopters for with the marines, pretty accurate sim all things considered...there used to be some ground effect issues on platforms that has been patched so all things considered very happy. A lot cheaper than burning actual jet fuel. Highly recommend some quality hotas as well.
It has improved quite a bit over time to a point where I would buy this over msfs2020. When I first bought this game, it had so many bugs, that I almost refunded the game, but it is better now.
I was a fan of Flight SImulator, been playing 2000, 2002, 2004, FSX/Prepar3D until I made a long break flying. I was excited to finally play that modern version of a franchsie I love and played countless hours but I regret my purchase. - Beautiful,/Photo realistic if we take a bit of altitude - Crashes often - Setting an IFR flight is a chore - Menus are confusing - Aircrafts flights models are meh at best - No offline version, everything is in the cloud - Keeps not remembering the controls I set for all aircrafts - ATC feels lifeless, a downgrade compared to FSX - Performance are abysmal, lot of frame drops, GPU runs out of vram easily even with a good GPU with 16gb of vram depsite using reasonable graphics (no more than high + DLSS balanced + framegen x2 and getting 85fps to 120fps, it still stutters and give me warning to lower settings) - Extremely expensive - Autopilot disconnects randomnly when reaching altitude on some aircraft like on the Airbus 320 - ATC guiding to gates is buggy - Devs did it dirty to the 2020 version buyers, they used to say it will be a game as a service that will be updated throughout the years, misleading people thinking there won't be a new version of that game, to eventually not long after release a new game.
一进去想从老家广州开始,结果找不到白云机场,一看好嘛,北上广总共四个大机场全部要内购,一个机场等于小半个游戏,那只能说再见了
if ur playing career mode its horrible dont recommend this game at all it always crashes and once youre done your flight theres a 99% the game brings u back to the menu and you dont recieve anything. HORRIBLE! FIX YOUR GAME!!!
Never buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. So many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs this bitchass company cant fix in the 2 years since the game came out. I playing a 2 hour long ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission and the last part of it was bugged so i couldnt do anything
There are a few good flight sims out there, but I bought this one with the career as a primary motivating factor. That said, I will base my review on the career for those others like me who are considering this game solely for that reason. If you want to buy this game to enjoy a fun and engaging career flying planes, look elsewhere. The career in this game is a massive and incredibly disappointing bust, and I will explain exactly why that is. For starters, and for what it's worth, it has good bones. That almost makes it worse. I have over 200 hours in the game and that is spent almost exclusively in the career so far. Initially you start out flying 'employee' contracts doing various things from sightseeing flights to skydiving contracts, and these are pretty cool, but you are barely making any money, and you need money to be able to do the missions you want to do all the time by purchasing your own planes. The game has a wide variety of planes available in free fly, but only a fraction of those are available in the career, which is itself quite frustrating, but it's not the worst part. Once you eventually save up about 20-30k doing missions that pay, at most, 4-8k and take 20 minutes to an hour to complete, you can finally purchase a Cessna Skyhawk 172. This opens up flightseeing 'freelance' missions or cargo missions if you hold out just a little longer for the higher payouts. I did cargo. This allows you to make 50k per flight instead of 4k for the same flight. You do a lot of these to save up a few hundred thousand for a vision jet to start getting passenger transport missions, netting a comfortable 250k per flight. So far so good, it takes a while but you feel like you're progressing. Then you finally do tons of those missions to save up about 4 million to buy a Cessna Grand Cherokee to do medium cargo, netting 500k per mission, but this plane is a glitchy mess. and the missions it's supposed to do are even worse. Almost every single mission has had a glitched out runway which causes a 'crash' on landing, and when flying your own planes you pay for your own repairs. This means I do a mission that takes about an hour to complete only to get a glitched runway, which I can't identify before the mission starts, and 'crash' the plane despite a perfectly smooth landing due to water or glitched holes on the runway. This costs me 100k or more to fix, so instead of making 500k for my hour long mission, I lose 100k plus fuel. The next plane that I could reasonably buy will cost 7 million or more, effectively screaching my career to a frustrating halt in which I have to decide to grind away the remaining credits, or quit the career. I chose to quit and use a 3rd party software (neofly) for a more satisfying career, but this can be used in microsoft flight simulator 2020 as well. The fact that I paid for this glitched out mess of a game because I wanted the career only to end up using an outdated 3rd party program for a much better career mode is beyond insulting. Microsoft needs to quit making 'content packs' and get their stuff together and fix this mess of a career before I will ever recommend this game to anyone interested in anything other than the free fly game mode. I may not even recommend it for that as many of the other planes in the game are glitched out messes of their own. This game feels like it was pushed out when it wasn't even halfway to completion just to score a ridiculously high price tag from poor consumers who will get hundreds of hours into the game before realizing the absolute mess that this game is, naturally far to late to demand a refund, of course.
I have over 200 steam games and have played them all, this game is #1 as the worst game every made, Microsoft should have made this game, its so freaking laggy, the setup completly sucks, xplane12 and 2020 blow this away!
