Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

You can see by the amount of hours I put into this that I really tried to get the "fun" experience out of it. I felt nothing but the intense urge to cheat since the game it's simply unfair as a single-player (unless with a party of 4 the game turns somewhat fair), so I cheated. Then the game became fun (only because I played with my brother), and because I saved at least 100 other hours on the grinding that I would've had to do without cheating. Then, nothing. The salvage missions are repetitive as hell, is impossible to get new gear without luck, the tower defense it's absurd and stupidly unfair. This game is made for masochists only. I do not recommend it.
Probably not as bad as made out to be but not the best i imagine it would be better with friends

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Do I recommend this game? No I do not.
Good survival game. If you ignore the 'Metal Gear' in the title it's not half bad.
this was a 7/10 for me, but drops to a 5/10 because of the insane DRM that go around the single player experience

This game is averse to fun. One of the most frustrating experiences I've encountered playing video games. I can talk about how I'm a fan of Metal Gear and how this was an insult to the series, but I'm sure you all know this. This game seems more concerned about wasting your time as a player than being an engaging video game. Arbitrary blocks, which are often just a timer (takes 2 IRL days post-end game for some digs); looting is slow; inventory weight is too small; melee is ineffective and clunky; ammo is too scarce; ammo capacity is too small; injuries are too common, a bother to deal with, and take too long to treat in the menu. Food and water meters are just another bar to deal with, though you will quickly be over-encumbered with water and food if you take some along. Fog of war on the map, combined with a very foggy map and very little landmarks, make navigating tedious. Co-op is non-existent (obviously), and S+ missions have such a high difficulty spike that every time I've tried it, it crashed the game. I'm pissed off. I hate this game. I hate it on its own, and I hate it as a Metal Gear game. Cheats do not make the game any more fun; they make the game playable. Until it crashes.
i like to beat the story of any game i play. i am starting to regret that decision
If you take out the "Metal Gear" title, it's actually a pretty decent game. But, DO NOT go into expecting a classic MSG gameplay experience.
