METAL GEAR SOLID - Master Collection Version

I really wish that when developers locked in and made the best video games ever, it wasn't in the N64 and PS1 era. It hurts my soul when I try to explain how Ocarina of Time and Metal Gear Solid are 10/10 perfect video games and the guy takes one look at the graphics and goes "Too old, they should make a 4K remake". Remakes can't capture the atmosphere half the time. They retell the story in a worse way. Look at the FF7 remake man, all they had to do was remodel and add some voice acting and they somehow blew it. There is something charming about the low poly style, it was designed around those limitations. Look at half life! Half the reason the game feels so scary and raw is because of the low poly graphics. I love old games, and games that try to be 4k ps5 over the shoulder generic slop will never capture the unique magic these titles have.

Great game and also i love the storytelling even thought this game is pretty old
