Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 102.43/day in the week to Aug 28 → 237.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

War has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines. War--and it's consumption of life--has become a well-oiled machine. War has changed. ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control. War…has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction, and he who controls the battlefield, controls history. War…has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war becomes routine.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Better then I remember
Cutscenes so long my controller keeps disconnecting. Also, holy moly, this game is good.
My all-time favourite PS3 game finally released on Steam, absolute classic and even better than I remember
A beautiful end to one of the best heroes in Gaming. I played this game so much back on the PS3 that to finally have it somewhere else is astonishing and exciting. There's so much content packed into this game, like any Kojima game, let's be honest here. Those who do not like his style of game probably won't enjoy this one either and that's alright - go play something else. This is where those of us who have been part of his worlds since MGS on PS1 thrive. To see the culmination of so many games and storylines come to their final destination and watching characters we've seen before in previous titles have their growth and perhaps even final act play out in front of us in cinematic glory with pristine and exceptionally smooth gameplay? A true testament to what Kojima and his team are capable of. There is truly something about the way he and his team design controls for their games that just feel beyond better than a normal game that you pick up. I don't know what it is but it just FEELS good. Reaction and how the characters move and ready their actions. It's a true smooth response. You can take notice of this by comparing it to other games and how there's sometimes a very millisecond delay in how they raise their weapon but with Snake, he does it precisely. Crazy how good this game looks too after having come out in 2007 to now. It genuinely looks better than some games that have even come out in the last few years. Another statement to the quality of production and design given to this game and the developers behind it. In terms of stealth gameplay this is a great design and fun place to explore different means of utilizing the new camo Snake has. Blending into environments and tricking guards into thinking you're just simply part of the terrain is awesome. For those who have played most MGS or even MGSV but not 4, I won't sit here and tell you that it has better stealth play than MGSV but I can tell you there is something greatly unique about crawling around as Old Snake in comparison to Punished Snake in V. • Fantastic gameplay despite people who jump on the complaint that cinematics are too long. (If you hate the cinematics just skip them, it's that easy.) • Gun customization is pretty fun here, not the most extensive but has a wealth of options to make your runs feel a little different every time. • Stealth is very refined and feels good here. There's quite a bit of options to play around with and classic instances that make it very telling this is at its core a Metal Gear Solid game. • Boss Battles are a high point in this game compared to many of the other MGS games imho. It follows the same criteria as MGS1, MGS2, and MGS3. Which I am a fan of. • Much like a lot of what Kojima and his team did before this game has a rule of cool it follows and I love that. I'm kind of getting sick of ultra realism and focus on grounded realism. It's nice to have something that pokes fun at subjects but keeps the intensity and heart of what the foundation to the story is all about. You can blend the two just fine. Not sure why people started to hate on Kojima for this but I still love the vibes.
I think there's a game interrupting my movie

This is just 20 hours of old men yaoi disguised as a stealth action video game
