About

A nomad wanders the far reaches of an overgrown megastructure, a world built for a forgotten purpose in which countless civilizations have lived entombed for ages.
But when the mech they use to traverse its vast distances breaks, they remain stranded in its hostile wilds beneath a concrete sky.

this game is awesome
Good Game.
Wow...great atmoshpere and sense of loneliness. Metal Garden is a short game, one you could beat in a single weekend but man, the journey was incredible. I still need to do the other achievements (a little replay value) so I will upadate the review later. Try this game, its cheap and a good game to pass the weekend. 10/10.
Najmocniejszą stroną giery są klimatyczne widoczki (zwłaszcza te pod koniec gry potrafią zatrzymać dech w piersiach) i jeśli lubi się klimaty megastruktur to na pewno warto spróbować. Gra dawała trochę atmosfery Halo (w otwartych lokacjach) i jeszcze bardziej Half-Life'a (w zamkniętych lokacjach, w których z reguły musimy rozwiązać proste łamigłówki). Strzelanie jest całkiem ok. Gra nie jest długa, więc całość wypada dosyć skondensowanie. Nie zachwyciła mnie aż tak jak większość graczy, ale wciąż było to dla mnie przyjemne nowe doświadczenie.
This game was a masterpiece. If you are someone who appreciates the simplicity and heavy atmospheric games I recommend this. It is relatively short (probably average completion of 2 hours) but in that short time you feel heavily immersed in the world around you. It would have been nice to have a bit of background lore on some of the corps and alien species that was hinted and mentioned through this game but I felt like MG didn't need it. It wasn't trying to set up a whole universe for players to explore it was merely creating an experience. The game made me feel both satisfied and wanting more, I reckon you give it a go!
Gameplay is serviceable but the visuals and atmosphere are the primary experience. If you look at this game and feel inspired then go for it, that's the point. I thoroughly enjoyed traversing the industrial environments. Wish there was more. Hopefully this game inspires more developers to make games with this theme.
fantastically large PS1 & N64 style post-apocalypse world with solid mechanics, good combat and platforming. The soundtrack is chilling and atmospheric and the lore is not only told through hidden log entries around the world, but through environment too. 10/10 style, highly recommend this game
