Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.38/day in the week to Aug 3 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a very short game. It took me 8 hours to beat while taking my time and looking for secrets. Story is vague and incomprehensible. Combat is fun, but the game is held back by bugs. The final boss is softlocked, but I was able to eventually fix it by repeatedly reloading checkpoints after each phase. Then after starting NG+ to finish upgrading weapons and skills the game is hardlocked by a bugged door. I've found other posts for the same issue going back at least 3 months as of posting.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Fun Gameplay like Doom.
METAL EDEN is an enjoyable singleplayer FPS where you move between one combat area to another while dispatching a few mobs inbetween and listening to the occasional story narration, noticeably spaced out across the level so as to not go through the story beats too quickly and leave the rest of the level completely silent and empty. It is no DOOM Eternal and so luckily it doesn't exhaust one as that game did. The store page describes it as an "adrenaline-rush" game but that's pushing it a bit. Playing with a mouse and keyboard almost makes the combat too easy as all you need to do is jump, dash, and move around to avoid most enemy fire since the vast majority of them do projectile based damage. And with an abundance of ammo/health/armor pickups available in each combat area all you need to do is run around, note where they are, and then keep moving, fighting, and collect a pickup every now and then until all enemies are defeated. The sci-fi world that's been crafted is beautiful albeit mostly empty and dead (no doubt intentional), and the power of Unreal Engine 5 is at full display here visually, with massive levels, free use of particle effects, and great lighting and shadows. That said it is also clear that this was, at the end of the day, a production with a limited budget. It looks great, and the story that's there is basic but coherent and interesting, but it also feels like a lot of the levels and story were stitched together after the fact, with no shared intent from the start. The CGI also displays the clear limitation of the budget with all speech done "digitally" so no mouth movements necessary, and multiple shots being reused time and time again, with glaring inconsistencies between them (e.g. a character switches between pose A and pose B instantly between camera cuts multiple times throughout some cutscenes). I imagine that had this had a larger budget we'd probably see the story expanded by quite a lot, with more expansive narrative beats in-between and during missions, and more work put into making the world come alive. But for what it is, in its current form, it is still worth playing.
Pretty fun and short bullet hell fps. Good for a few hours.

It makes me really nauseous / motion sick.
