An occult visual novel with point and click mechanics.
You wake up to a fire in the middle of the night. This was probably caused by your Magick, which you have very little control over...
To tame this ability, you decide to take matters into your own hand, and end up at a small witches' coven- a decrepit house in the middle of nowhere. Mesmer, one of these witches, greets you at the door, and thus your Magickal training commences,,,

After playing the Mesmalie demo, i thought that Mesmer was the right amount of goofy yet threatening for a witch character. After playing the full game, i have gone back on my word and gained clinical depression.
An incredible time. Art is very on point throughout and the story hits from start to the end. Especially appreciate that there's more to explore after hitting what feels like what should be the conclusion at first, as everything after gets increasingly touching in a way that I will think about for quite some time. Phenomenal game.
Good!
I saw a teaser for this game and knew immediately that I had to play it just because of the art style, and I'm happy to say that the game itself is just as charming as it looks. The gameplay is surprisingly varied for its point and click/visual novel format, and it comes with a couple of minigames that are pretty fun to play. The narrative is compelling, and the game's presentation really helped me get absorbed into it. But the highlight is easily Mesmer, she is so fun and adorable, plus her character is very interesting. I strongly recommend looking for what else the game has to offer after the "main" ending, because the deeper you go into this game, the more compelling Mesmer and the narrative become.
peak.
even know i did not get all achievements, i not going to lie, i relly like alot about this game. Mesmer herself is enjoyable to listen and a great character too, the art style and colors of the background felt unique and wonderful, the story felt great too (i am not going to tell any spoilers), the minigames are fun to play, the atmosphere of the music is well done, and i buy day day 1 and did not disappoint a bit, i love it.
things this game doesnt have: fishing minigame things this game does have: great soundtrack wonderfully stylized pixel art actual fun gameplay the ability to ask: what if i? and than regretting changing the trajectory of your life forever this game took 8 of my dollars and gave me nine hours of fun and joy, if that isnt worth it then you must tell me what is
Great game! Wonderful music and character/world design/art! I definitely recommend if you want an intriguing story with some fun and slightly challenging puzzles! (Also works great if you're on steam deck, just click with trigger and move cursor with trackpad) :)
