It's great
mesmalie has a lot going for it - standout visuals, great music, and a captivating mechanical landscape through which it weaves you deftly - but i feel that one of its most succicnt and potent methods of delivering its' story is the 'Get Out' button. At any minute, you can leave. but, yknow, should you? just hovering there in the corner is the option to leave, but she can't. she can't let go, so should you? how much should someone repent? how much do you have to do before you're allowed to let go? well, the answer is: you can't. no matter whether you leave now or later, you can't ever let go.

This game made me feel worbly.
this was really beautiful. the characters and every piece of lore in the story are crafted into something so phenomenal and complex i could think about it all day. its hard for me to dislike what repetitive parts of the game there are with how great it is. the dialogue, the sprites, the minigames, the secrets, the artstyle, all of it is so good i could keep going.
:)
Très touchant !
a short fun with a good story best gone into with as little knowledge of it beforehand. The dialogue is fun and enjoyable and the minigames break up the pacing of the visual novel portion well. But some parts can drag on when repeating a chapter luckily the game includes skips for most of these. I recommend this one greatly
This game. Oh lord this game is... really something. I found out about it by total luck. Was scrolling steam and played the demo because I was interested. Joined the discord and the dev gave me a FULL copy. What a way to undersell you game too. This game is worth far more than it costs. It feels like playing Undertale for the first time again with it's incredible writing and playlist worthy soundtrack. This game is really fun for a visual novel too. There are fun minigames and even an entire top down keyboard controlled overworld section with unique sprites and stuff. But the place where this game really shines is the characters, and specifically their writing. Oribitaldot is AS good of a writer as Toby Fox when it comes to selling the characters. Every. Single. Beat. Hit. I really fell in love with Mesmer throughout my short playthrough but from what I've heard there are multiple endings and lots of cool secrets that change the final outcome. This is without a doubt one of the best hidden indie games of the decade. What a smashing first success for the creator. Can't wait to see what these developers can do next. Please buy this game twice.
Very good game. I love the characters in it and the message it has. a bit intense with some visuals here or there, but nothing I don't find artistically wonderful!
