This game was so fun and addictive. Loved trying to get higher in the leaderboards even if it wasn't near the top. Would very much recommend.
Hidden gem of a game similar to Overcooked. Played the Co-op with 2 players. Getting gold on each map was quite the challenge but we managed to get them all. Would highly recommend!

I picked up this game because my wife and I are big fans of Overcooked style games, and this one seemed right up our alley. We played through the coop content first, and there was plenty of challenge to be had. It was hard for her at times, as you are expected to remember what ingredients make what items. For me, however, this was part of the fun. Some of the later content is pretty difficult, especially if you are trying to get a gold score, but the game was solid and enjoyable. I want to talk about one other aspect, however, that most games of this type don't really have, a solo campaign. In most cases, you are expected to control two characters and make items, but Merek's Market is different. Solo play has it's own set of challenges, and there are some nuances that would have helped coop play as well. The haggle elements were really nice and added both a break and flavor to the rest of the experience. In some ways, solo feels a bit more casual. There is still some challenge, but once you have the rhythm of it, you can typically get all the items made you need. Overall, I enjoyed this game. I hope to see more content or more like this in the future, but for players who like chaos crafting games, like Overcooked, check this one out. I think you will enjoy it as well.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this game! I mainly played the campaign mode on stream (feel free to check it out here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1164129039). This game is perfect for those who want to challenge themselves yet have a comedic time with puns and cheesy jokes. It's relatively safe for kids to play too. As for areas of concern, I wish the tutorial is more thorough for the fire and such. I also find it difficult to read the text that I need to type for customer payment. It's also difficult to determine the overall countdown when characters are waiting for their job to be done - I think a melting candle or an hourglass would be more helpful. There definitely needs to be improvement for accessibility and menu variety (like being able to put the game in windowed mode, disabling voice acting, text size, and increased graphic contrast). Nonetheless, the game mechanics are somewhat polished. I can see it being at its full potential in the future. Definitely check it out when it's more polished!
Amazing game, similar to overcook, great for coop multiplayer, but I can't play with joystick in campaign mode (only keyboard). In coop mode, joysticks work well. Please fix that!
Great co-op experience. Very creative ideas. Similar to Overcooked and DIner Bros.
