Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Honestly, I can't recommend this. The art style is cool and the story is somewhat fun, but it's just a slog to play. There are a lot of mechanics that have very little impact and feel like useless filler: card upgrades, combos, equipment, resources, gas, the whole travel deck... I can't help but feel that leaner, more refined systems would work much better. The core gameplay is fine, but it gets boring very quickly. I almost never want to pick up new cards, because they just feel bad. I can't be bothered with most of the usable items. Upgrading cards is inconsequential. Most relics are bad or inconsequential. Most fights don't require any thought. On top of that, there's a black screen before and after each location, and the constant switching between black screen and colorful screen is exhausting for the eyes.
The game is fun, but it doesn't scale correctly. Once you get to act III, you are dead within two battles, no matter how many new cards/relics you reveal. I'm sure you could evcentually beat it, but it just becomes a grind to get there over and over.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"We have Slay the Spire at home!" Looks fun but lacks depth, lacks interactions between different cards and relics, lacks card-specific relics, lacks relic-specific relics, any synergy that would strongly suggest "Hey bud, you should probably go X build now". Everything is just generic. Love the story so far (Played up to Betrayal), love the idea of upgrading paths - I've seen this in Hellcard, but here in Menace from the Deep you do not have to spend any points or actions – as you play your cards, you gradually "charge" their upgrade meter, once charged, you upgrade the card at the end of the encounter. Do not like the monotony. Still, it's fun to play until you realise the boredom beneath. If you want discount StS in Lovecraftian setting, give it a go, I got it (and the DLC) at -70% and it was worth the fun I've had so far.
I love the vibe of the game but the game is not balanced the cards and the game plays quite punishing for no reason it becomes grinding instead of trying to letting you experience the story. I hope the devs see this in take a step back and think about it
Bom jogo de deckbuilder. O destaque vai para o tema, para a atmosfera e para o sistema de upgrades de cartas baseado no uso delas ingame. Destaco como desagradável o sistema de construções da base que são extremamente caros, principalmente os útlimos tiers.
Lovecraftian Noir Slay The Spire, I love it.
If you love Slay the Spire and have a soft spot for Lovecraftian horror, this is an easy recommendation. It takes the familiar core deckbuilding formula and drips it in heavy 1920s cosmic dread. The atmosphere is fantastic, the visuals set a great mood, and mechanics like sanity management and allies give it enough of its own identity to feel fresh. Solid card battler that nails its theme.
Cool game, but gets frustrating fast. Too many unwinnable fights. Too much grind. If you have patience and get it cheap, go for it.
