About
Memoirs of a Battle Brothel is an adult (NSFW), narrative-driven, tactical turn-based RPG inspired by traditional pen-and-paper roleplaying games!

Welcome to the Courtesan's Guild, where the women are beautiful and deadly. Players assume the role of a Facilitator: part administrator, mercenary, and free-agent in the service of the Guild. Lead your own Guild Hall, explore the island city-state of MoonFall, develop relations with other factions, discover secrets, and, if you're so inclined, indulge in what the women of the Guild have to offer.
Create Your Own Character: Choose your background, goals, and more!
Optimize Your Skills & Abilities: Four different classes, eight subclasses!
Manage A Brothel: Add or upgrade facilities, build new upgrades for your staff!
Engage In High-Stakes Diplomacy: Factions react to your actions!
Romance Your Partners: Sexy encounters with your team members await!
Tactical, turn-based combat with loads of items!
Isometric, 3D or 2D perspectives!
Free-roam play: take on new contracts or ambush couriers!

In this seedy, cyberpunk inspired world, luxuries are often undercut with the threat of violence. Whether it’s pressure from one of the ruling crime syndicates, disgruntled nobles, or even a blood contract from a private military company, the Courtesan's Guild finds itself beset on all sides.
To maintain their position in the criminal underworld, the lovely ladies of the Guild are given full combat training in addition to their bedroom teachings.
These vivacious vixens will join you in battle as you fight to protect the guild!

Four different campaign paths!
Players can embark on any (or all) of four campaign paths. Each of which will cause unique endgame scenarios!
Curry favor with the island’s largest crime syndicate
Join forces with a foreign mercenary company
Hunt down a notorious serial killer with the help of the city’s vigilantes
Get roped into an ancient conspiracy hidden by a powerful extranational agency
Decide the fate of the Guild!
Will you be known as a Unifier, who brought peace and understanding to the different factions of the Guild? Or a Usurper, who took advantage of the crisis to gain power? Many other paths await, and the ending is yet to be written.

I came into this game looking forward to a debauched smut. After the first hour of it, I realized that I got tricked. And I'm not all that mad. This game will take you in with a pretense of a adult porn game, but then reveal its full depths of a wonderfully crafted eldritch cyberpunk story. Political. Grim. Dark. Betrayals and half-truths all around. It's a great game, but --- BUT if you are interested in this game, I would advise you. This game is a little janky. Understandable since it's made in RPG Maker and that it is made by only one person, that there are things left to desired. The UI is a bit wonky to work with. The layout of class perks are unintuitive and you'll have to simply press left or right on your directional keypad to properly get anywhere. Your relationship with the other factions are important in the game yet, there is no straightforward way to view your faction points with them unless you run up to them in the overworld map. Sometimes my game would crash whenever I go into combat. It's a buggy game, evidence of the experience of the developer, but it has a lot of heart and soul in its story. So much that I look forward to its sequel.
1. This is not a porn game, this is a proper RPG with some (optional) porn 2. The game is ambitious and unique I can nitpick about many thing, but I won't since this game is a hidden gem. A flawed one, but I'll take this type of game over a polished generic slop any day.
This is just a really fun and well-put-together game. Sort of a Shadowrun-type world crossed with World of Darkness to get something unique and better than either, I'd say. Choices matter, and the different classes certainly play differently. Great soundtrack too. Check it out. Dev has successfully held a Kickstarter for the sequel, Vampire Syndicate, looking forward to it.
I gave up after fighting with the game for ~20min. It looks fun and interesting in the screenshots and teasers. What's not fun: A variable character walk-speed. If I'm moving to the right, the character will randomly speed up and slow down. I don't know why this is happening, there's no suggestion of anything in-game. Nothing is marked. I spent several minutes stuck in the guild because I didn't pick up "the writ and combat skin". It was on the desk. It didn't stand out on the desk (as something I needed to specifically interact with), no characters told me "the thing you need is on the desk", just... I'm done here, and I can't leave, and I don't know why. After blindly wandering around hitting 'space' while facing multiple walls/objects, the thing that kinda, sorta looked like a piece of paper (but not a "combat skin", which sounds like a full-body thing) finally triggered. To interact with another character, you have to be on the EXACT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pixel-line that they are on. If you're 1 pixel above or below them, the interaction button does nothing. Got to the second location. Was told to go "up the street and to the right". And then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what? Where am I going? What does the door look like? How many doors am I going past? Is the buiding I need a particular colour? Look, I get you don't want to make a map, and I don't doubt that the dev sneers at useful things like 'location markers', but... Could you at least give me some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ directions? You couldn't pay me to try this again. (I neither need nor want a Dev response to this. They almost always come across as passive/aggressive that can't subsequently be responded to.)
Haven't finished it yet, but I really enjoy this. This has more "game" in it than any other hentai game I've yet played. Dude wrote up pages and pages of lore like he was making Mass Effect. One warning, the actual sex acts are heavily pixelated. The main draw for the sex scenes is the description/narration of them. So if you have to SEE the sex and not read about it to get going, this might not be for you. Then again, it still might as it's still a good cyberpunk style RPG.
An uninteresting game that doesn't understand why settings like this are supposed to work. The turn-on-a-dime nature of the reputation system combined with inadequate gamesave settings make this a frustrating waste of time.
This was honestly such a refreshing game! It completely caught me off guard but I couldn’t put it down, what an absolute gem. To say this game is about the H scenes would be like saying Spiderman is about a struggling photojournalist. The dialogue is clever and deep, the story is rich and engaging, the characters are nuanced and real, the battle system is incredibly fun…I can’t remember the last time I was so invested in a video game. Kudos to the creator and I’m definitely a fan, you can tell a lot of love went into this game. Can’t wait to replay it and see how the different choices pan out this time!
This was a really good game up until ACT III. The decision to remove the ability to rest at your bed in between battles was a really dumb idea. It really bogs everything down, as the flow of the game is interrupted by having to constantly find other ways to heal after a fight. I know I still gave it a thumbs up out of respect, but not including the rest feature in the final act really messes up the pace of the game...just saying.
It's pretty decent game. Most of the time you wont see the H scenes since you're fighting most of the time and progressing the game though the other questlines but on the plus side the H scenes are pretty nice when you get there which there a lot of. And the difficulty of the game isn't that bad like you don't even need the end game abilities or end game gear either to beat the end game. But if i have to say 2 things, I would say Charisma and shapers are op.
