Inspired by RuneScape, Melvor Idle takes the core of what makes an adventure game so addictive and strips it down to its purest form! This is a feature-rich, idle/incremental game combining a distinctly familiar feel with a fresh gameplay experience. Maxing 20+ skills has never been more zen.

Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've tried to get into this game a couple of times, and even though my gameplay time is extremely short, the lack of sound on anything was enough for me to ask for a refund. Just the smallest *ping* of something completing or a quest being finished would have been enough. The dead silence and lack of feedback from anything clicked on or completed just killed it for me. I am a person who needs something in the background provided by the game to really enjoy it. I played a different idle game that only had a looping track in the background, but that was enough for me to play it straight through to 100% completion because it gave my brain something to focus on while I crunched numbers, handled loot, and several parties of adventurers. To the devs, I know you're working on the sequal, but please come back and put some sound into this!
300 hours of perfect idle gaming. Short daily sessions still feel rewarding (ten minutes in the morning, ten at night), with real progression and strategic choices. Endgame slows down, but the ride is worth it. Recommended, just set your expectations right

I'm bad at idle games. I installed a mod to speed the game up and progressively increased the modifier so I always had stuff to fiddle with. It kept me going nonstop for like 3 weeks. If you're wondering about DLC, Throne of the Herald is cool but you don't need to get it until you beat the game, Atlas of Discovery is fun if you like maps and are fine with things taking a long time although it has pacing issues. Do not buy the Abyss DLC. "Do everything over again. It's harder and slower now. All your stuff is useless." I'd rather have my save deleted.
I suppose I guess I understand why some people would like this game. I have to say I don't because the UI was just immediately off-putting to me. Everything just feels... Flat. Like you're clicking around on an excel sheet rather than a game. There's no real spark of joy that comes with making something new, or upgrading, just the vague awareness of "huh, I can do this other thing now." I will say it's neat as far as concepts go. I will say that someone who just cares about numbers and processes in an almost statistical way is gonna enjoy this. I will, however, also say that this game has, in my eyes, zero personality that would elevate it beyond being an overly complicated flat slate with buttons to press.
I have over two years in this game (all platforms), and simply put, it’s the best idle game in my opinion. It has all the quirks we loved in other games, refined into a more simple and pure form. The game can become very grindy very fast and is a favorite among those interested in the “spreadsheet goblin” genre. However, it’s quite flexible in terms of time commitment - thanks to the 24-hour offline progress, just a few clicks a day can set you up for some solid progress. There’s a great community and a very interactive dev team that’s always striving to do better. Honestly, 10/10, especially for its uniqueness.
