MegaRace 3

As far as a Wipeout style AG racer goes...it doesn't seem to bad at all. It is a lot better than the racing in Megarace 2, but still fails to reach the fun of the first one. But there are three problem I encountered: 1. The screen shakes. This game is not Win10 friendly...and it looks like my issues are better than what others have had. I could play it, but there were times where the screen would shake a bit too much that it was disorientating. 2. The different ship modes: attack, speed, and defense. It took forever to take someone out firing on them during the mandatory practice...but when I did arcade mode the first time it was too easy to just stay in first. However attack mode seemed to control better and go faster than speed mode. Hmmm...... 3. This one hurts to say: Lance Boyle kills this one. He is great in Megarace....cool and sarcastic. This one has way too much forced comedy. Its...well...annoying. Also the video is even lower budget than the first. The first game had a very futuristic cyber feel to it. This one it just feels like Lance is shooting out of his garage. As a racer it is good...if you can get it working. Its just said that one of the best things about Megarace, Lance, is the nail in the coffin in this one.....

Borderline unplayable on modern computers, unfortunately Was a banger when it came out, though

Это лучшая игра в жанре гонок! В детстве наиграл в нее несколько десятков часов (диск от нее до сих пор где-то валяется). Решил поностальгировать в 2023 - опять затянуло, однако! На Windows 10 идет нормально в разрешении 1920x1080, правда не видит мою RTX 2070 (играю на встроенной в процессор видяхе), но играется замечательно, без лагов! Плевать, что в Стиме нет русской локализации - она тут не критична. Зато сколько веселья и удовольствия получаешь от процесса - словами не передать. В игре нет кучи настроек, задействовано всего несколько кнопок, управление интуитивно понятное. Игра хардкорная, очень сложная, но в этом и состоит ее ценность! Большое разнообразие гоночных... болидов, или как еще их назвать; несколько различных режимов; множество трасс со своими уникальными фишками и задачами. Вобщем, таких игр, к сожалению, уже не делают. Играбельно в 2023 году и навсегда!

Wir bereits den vorgänger gespielt und meiner Meinung nach ist dieser Teil deutlich besser, wenn auch leider nicht perfekt kompatibel mit heutiger hardware. Den muss man mögen, ich find ihn eher creepy, aber trotzdem ist das environmental und Streckendesign deutlich besser als im Vorgänger. Wer F-Zero mag, kann hier mal reinschauen und ggf. die Videos bzw. das Commentary einfach ausstellen, da sich das für mich eher wie ein Fremdkörper anfühlt. Довольно неплохая аркадная гонка, которая вывозит в основном за счет шуток Лэнс Бойла и несерьезности происходящего. Сама же игра примитивна (на уровне аркады), сложность соперников завышена (но болванчики вполне проходимы), оптимизацией занималась микроидс - а значит оптимизации и локализации нет и не будет

Terrible, es malisimo, está mal configurado, el menú es horrible y el juego nada destacable, un pésimo port a mi consideración. Si a alguien le sirve, únicamente pude correr el juego en un monitor con resolución 1080p, no acepta superiores, se bugea demasiado. Puede que este juego fuera bueno en su epoca pero sin duda aquí es terrible, ni si quiera vale la pena jugarlo quitando los bugs ya que solo queda un modo de ir superando carreras de una forma rara, me parece que intentaba algo como los juegos de fox pero no se siente que realmente vayas a alta velocidad y ni siquiera existen físicas. No me gustó en lo absoluto.
