Love it! Please release more levels.
It's a good concept, but the PC controls are terrible, and it didn't seem to detect my XBox 360 controller.

Megamix by the "Beatsie Boys" (so called to try trick people into associating them with the Beastie Boys, so hopefully they'll get whacked with a trademark infringement suit) is a badly made 2D side scrolling rhythm game where you must push the right buttons to progress endlessly to the left while some severely crappy blippy music blasts into your ears. There's also an attack element so you get to do some fighting within the tired, pooly implmented rhythm game framework. The game has volume controls but it just ignores them and plays the audio full blast anyway. Zero software testing done, as usual for amateur games. While the game doesn't use retro pixel "art", the low poly/paper art style assets are lacklustre and unengaging. Just like the gameplay. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the game resolution caps out at 1080p, a very low resolution that became mainstream back in 2006 and became obsolete when 4K entered the mainstream in 2014. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. The control scheme you're locked into using is bizarre and unintuitive, and makes it pretty clear the developers never played a PC game before. Likewise, there's no mouse input. It's almost like this was made to be a console game, but the console makers have quality control around their walled gardens, junk like this would never be permitted. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.
The operation and the feel are too bad, and every time you want to jump, you can't succeed. The music is good, but I don't support my SWITCH handle.
