GREAT! The game grows on you , starts off a little repetitive and simple but as you keep unlocking new stuff it builds. Management style and trading so selling and owning a shop and farming elements with horse breeding and training. At the time of review no gamepad support or third person riding , I used xpadder and it runs well on my Rog Ally.

Not what I expected but still having a lot of fun. Very chill game.
This game is super high quality despite being so new, I had a lot of fun! I did have to reduce graphics to medium and reload the whole game so the environment wouldn't disappear when I equipped tools, but otherwise a really entertaining simulator! I just finished the main storyline, and I kept notes on suggestions as I went along: - The description implied I'd be able to actually choose breeds like thoroughbred, friesian, percheron, ardennes, or other older race/draft/war horse breeds but I could only breed for stats and foal quality, which was still fun but felt kind of misleading - Perhaps an agility training ring, or horses make proportionately tighter turns as their stats improve - There's a lot of drift while riding, especially on my higher-stat or grant horses - Horse thumbnails become illegible as gear is equipped, or they're glitched from the getgo and stay that way - Perhaps strides can cover longer distances as the horse's stats improve rather than the horse running cartoonishly fast - A gallop function that can be enabled/disabled or unlocked with training would've been fun and would've made sense, as expansive as the land grants are - Maybe after defeating the foe overseas you can choose a retirement path like breeding, agriculture, private army, etc and associated perks/upgrades/advancements could be unlocked - The cattle sheds could use a livestock cap like the chicken coops seem to have. I can purchase at max 4 calves, but the cows can breed and spawn 30+ animals seemingly without limit, which becomes a HUGE drain on feed that I don't get warned about - Love that the market horses improve in base stat quality as the story progresses - Love the inheritable traits, keep that up - Love the minigame training rings but wish I wouldn't get notifications from the NPC horse trainers about other horses interrupting my sessions - Would be cool to be able to hire more staff as my property/business grows. Having a groundskeeper to chop trees and harvest grass would've been SUPER helpful, even if their surface area was limited per day due to exhaustion - Being able to plant my own trees or things like rosebushes, shrubs, etc where I want them once the land is cleared and structures are built would've made for fun landscaping
I've played this game so much since I've gotten it I love it. I do kind of wish the grass grew back but the mechanics are great and there is so much to do. If multiplayer ever gets added it will be the cherry on top for best horse game of the year in my honest opinion
super chill
