About

Civilization entered an age of rapid technological advancement, but Earth's resources were depleting at an alarming rate. In a desperate effort to secure humanity's future, pioneers were sent to the Moon, where they uncovered a miraculous substance known as Blackstone—a limitless energy source capable of renewing other resources. There was just one problem: Blackstone became inert the moment it left the Moon. To harness its power, pioneers established a space station on the lunar surface, beginning extensive research into what would become known as "Blackstone technology."
The Moon soon transformed into a new haven, a sort of Noah's Ark for humanity, as people began migrating there in search of a fresh start. This discovery ignited a renewed sense of hope for the survival of mankind and the quest for a new home. As research into Blackstone deepened, humanity uncovered a second, hidden potential within the material: the ability to empower human souls. Blackstone could manifest the strength of belief and even grant machinery life. Thus, the "New Moon Project" was launched in secrecy. Through advanced experimentation, scientists succeeded in extracting human souls and infusing them into mechanical bodies using Blackstone as a conduit. A new form of life had been born.

2D action roguelite with rooms. Combat is fun, bullet hell bosses and enemies, reminds me a lot of Rabi-Ribi but faster. Cute pixel graphics, many characters to unlock, character progress tied to base building and resources gathering during runs, nice music. English language - main screen second from top, next screen second from bottom.
no update in 5 months, abandoned early access. Currently in an "almost there" state, but has a lot of features that just require a ton of grinding for questionably useful rewards. It's got good guts, but the "we already made enough money on our unfinished game, so eh, we'll just ditch it half-done and make a new dev name next time" is getting to be an extremely annoying practice.
This game used to be really good before the most recent update. It basically changed everything. Before, it controlled like a Mega Man X game or like the Knight from Hollow Knight. Now it has mouse aiming, which for a controller player like me is pointless, so auto-aiming it is, which kind of takes away the skill and control the game used to have. The platforming rooms are gone too. All non-boss action segments seem to have been replaced with survival rooms where they just throw tons of mobs at you until the timer runs out. More often than not, I don’t even know what hit me because the screen gets so cluttered, and the most effective strategy is just stay in the corner and try not to engage as much as possible. I really preferred the old style, where you just cleared a room based on how many enemies there were. At least then your progress depended on how fast you could actually play, not just waiting for a timer. A lot of items don’t even have descriptions now either. Hopefully they roll back these core gameplay changes, because it’s honestly gotten pretty boring. It’s a shame, because I really had high hopes for this game. The art and premise are great, and I was eagerly waiting for the update earlier this year when I bought it. What a letdown.
0.2 killed the savefiles, killed the progression, killed controls, killed buildcrafting i've spent around 20 hours in 0.1 and did pretty much everything, now i don't feel like playing more/again, especially assuming questionable changes. there was NO info before 0.2 update about going into "survivors-like", and this change clearly makes the game worse for me
Cute pixel art game with roguelike and base-building elements! The art for this is so pretty and cute. The characters are all so unique as well! It's a bit of a tough game at first but once you get the hang of it and do a few loops, you'll be beating the bosses in no time~ I really love the base-building side as the graphics are so cute. The furnitures can give you different bonuses as well. I do wish there were some more decorative things off the bat, like lighting and such so that my base isn't so dark :) Music is good, sound is good. Everything just feels so responsive. The game has that addicting "one more run" game loop that keeps you playing for longer than intended. I only have two hours in so far but I can see myself adding more onto that easily. The only issue I've run into is that my save isn't syncing to my steam deck, but it's not a huge deal!
好玩,未来有支持创意工坊的计划吗?
Cute little roguelike with some pretty tight gameplay. Movement and combat (most of the time) feel great. Characters are generally well-balanced (though some definitely seem pretty bad on paper, would need to try them out more to be sure.). Weapons, skills, etc. are pretty standard for the genre but still good. I'd say this is an absolute steal for only $10 USD. A lot of minor issues in terms of polish, bugs, and balancing, but nothing that can't be chalked up to it being early access; if they really end up bothering you, just buy the game in a few years. The two major gripes I have with the game in its current state are the base building and visual clarity in later stages. Base building is just extremely barebones with basically none of the expected QOL features: you can't remove furniture en masse, you can't stack furniture on top of other furniture, you can't zoom out/in on the base itself when placing things, and so on. This wouldn't be an issue if you could just ignore the base building, but you can't because it's a fundamental progression system as well. The devs will probably fix this over time, though, so I doubt it's worth worrying about. As for visual clarity, once particle effects start stacking up things get messy. Melee isn't too bad, but guns and spells can potentially flood the screen with projectiles and make it a lot harder to actually see anything. This is particularly bad in certain boss fights that also spam projectiles; it kind of reminds me of Terraria's Calamity mod, for better or for worse. Again, totally fixable (and probably will be), but still notable. Other notes: - The game does have an English language option. There are a few missing translations in UI elements, but otherwise the game is entirely playable in English. - KB+M is probably usable, but controller is definitely the way to go. - Game runs perfectly through Proton. - Fishing minigame. - Beta is kinda goated.
This game has great graphics and actually really good gameplay loop for a roguelike. There is some base building and side quests at home just like the description. For an early access game, it was quite impressive and really showed potential. However, the 0.2 update just came out, and I feel it really set back my confidence in this game. First off, the developers forgot to mention that all save files in 0.1 were incompatible with the new patch. They have some cheat code for a complete save file, but that wasn't disclosed and I would like to see some transparency on this regarding future patches. Additionally, the controls have changed (for the worse). Now all weapons use mouse aiming, which also came at the side effect of controllers being completely unplayable because the aiming is fully locked on the mouse cursor. The devs have stated (late) that this needs an overhaul of the controls and is WIP. I get it's early access, but did they think pushing the change in controls in this state was a good idea? Additionally, a cooldown on dashes was introduced which in the long run I feel will be restrictive against players once bosses truly become bullet hell. It also makes some platforming impossible, notably the chase rooms where the goal is to quickly dash through obstacles - what was possible in 0.1 now results in the player likely taking multiple hits of damage that these rooms are best avoided. I really want this game to succeed at full launch, but right now the trajectory the devs took with this update bringing questionable design choices and not including notice of them in the patch notes does not bring confidence.
The visual style of the game is delightful, but to me the core gameplay feels raw Here are my main problems with this game: – combat doesn't feel satisfying (it kind of lacks the impact) – AI of the enemies feels dumb – English translation issues, it's hard to understand the story sometimes, some dialogue lines are missing and some UI text is still in in Chinese – speed of text in dialogues can't be configured or skipped – background music disappears when the lights go out (I guess there is supposed to be another theme or ambience playing) I didn't really get to the try other gameplay mechanics because of how boring the roguelike part is Overall, I would say that in its current state, this game needs a lot of attention and I hope the developers address these issues
game was good before recent update. controls for control users is screwed up and keeps curser from mouse on screen messing up your aim. also the new aim is done with the right sick and attacks are done with X and Y buttons however with this style you cant aim and shot. why not just bring old controls as an option for control users. as of right now along with horrible controls and no text for item pick ups and wipes of saved data with no warning i say pass till they fix the issues. I will stay away from game till they bring old control's back because currently unplayable. I hate to say this about this game because before the update it was crazy fun.
