Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game is good.
This game has come a long way since the beginning! DLC's have added insanely awesome new campaigns to try out, other famous merc factions, and tons of mechs! Even better when played with friends... give this game a shot! I will say the DLC's will really make this game shine and get it away from how dull it was when the game first came out.

This is an incredible game. I pulled MechWarrior 3 off the shelf at wall mart when i was around 12. They had a vison that was pretty captivating to me then. This is really beyond the scope of anything i ever imaged for MechWarrior, or really any game really. This is a huge star map of locations, a very big game and immersive story, if you get the coop working is just a blast to venture through all day with the different campaigns and missions, very full of narratives and dictation between the different group in battle, out of battle, in between. I bought the "inner sphere bundle", so i have all the dlc but 3 at the moment including the new one coming. Can't wait to fill my collection, even though i know I've hardly even touched what i bought. I have spent enough time I do want to leave a good review early. certainly one of the most comprehensive mech experiences ever, not just from these developers.
In MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, you don't control the mech, per se; you control the pilot whose awareness of his mech's speed, direction, and position of its turrets in relationship to its legs are fundamental to success on the battlefield. This is a "sim" game that puts you into the cockpit of a towering 65-ton war machine strapped with enough firepower to level a small city within minutes. Outside of combat, you manage a mercenary company where your duties include hiring pilots, buying and equipping mechs, and negotiate contracts from various factions. The combat is excellent. Some mechs are better equipped for close-range combat, others for long-range engagements -- your skill as a pilot stems from your ability to maintain an appropriate distance from an enemy while remaining in constant motion to avoid taking hits. Additionally, your evasive maneuvering must be carried out at such an angle where you're able to point your weapons at the enemy and protect your vulnerable rear from enemy fire. While the combat is stellar, many aspects of the game outside of combat are rough. Mech customization is particularly disappointing. You can't swap limbs or cockpits or armor plates... nothing like that. The only major thing that can be altered on a mechs is the weaponry and even then the game designates the size and weapon type (missile, laser, ballistic) of each weapon hardpoint. This is in addition to an overall weight limit each mech can equip. The devs included dozens of mechs, but once separated into a handful of general roles (ie. long-range missile mech, brawler mech, fast burst damage mech, etc.), one mech is difficult to distinguish from another. When I think of mech games, I think of customizing, tinkering, and min-maxing -- this is below expectations. (Note: there are player-made mods that may add customization options and flesh out this aspect of the game, but I did not try them.) The campaign story is a generic tale of revenge that I did not find engaging. Missions can get repetitive. The graphics and audio are both pretty good. Nothing memorable, but nothing to complain about. Overall, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has satisfying and engaging combat, but drops the ball in terms of mech customization and it's single-player campaign. If you've seen the trailers and this game looks interesting, I'd say it's worth trying, but wait until it's on sale.
ye still great
big stompy mechs go boom
525 hrs sandbox mech content. Infinitely replayable.
This is a great game in the series. I have been playing battletech and mechwarrior since the days of FASA. While there are many things I would like to see implimented from previous game such as a rear view mirror this is the best that could be hoped for in a modern rendition. Sandbox mechwarrior is fantastic. I would advise anyone who is as deep as I am into mechwarrior and battletech download YAML. This is a great game and as long as I do not have to run around the leopard fps style I enjoy it a great deal.
I love those game to death just all the different customization and optimizations. I have over 200 hours on ps and have multiple saves that have over 50k days passed if you include the ones drawn back for chaos reign and shadow of kerensky
