Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Installed and tried to play this game several times over years and never got past first mission. Just didn't seem to do anything for me. For some reason installed it again recently and it just 'worked' for me. Now I spend half my day trying to decide if I have time to sneak in 1 more mission before work, dinner, bed, etc. I think part of the attraction is finding a mech you really fit with. For me, I thought the big guys would be my jam but I'm finding a lot more fun in agile fast mechs with just a few SLs and JJs. If you like mechs you're probably going to enjoy this game. Give it a go and if it doesn't work at first, try a couple of different mechs to see if maybe that one type doesn't suit your playstyle as much. Hope you enjoy. edit: side note, I'm playing the base game so can't comment on any of the DLC and if it adds / detracts from the experience.

Guy looses his dad to evil mech man and goes on a revenge spree to kill the evil mech man, and also maybe decimate everything else in his way
its quite peak, makes you feel like a boss
fun
Best sandbox Mechwarrior game made, with tons of replayability.
The best games usually have a great modding scene and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is no exception. This is a forever game for me. I played the campaign with minimal mods and by the end I was really itching to install YAML for the greater complexity. The moment the campaign was beat I installed YAML and YAML related mods and the game is even better than it was before. No question YAML is where it is at. If you have the time, play without it first, I tend to agree with people who suggest it. But, if you think you will only put in 100 - 200 hours before moving on, then start with YAML and get the full experience. I recommend this to anyone who loves big stompy mechs and blowing ♥♥♥♥ up!
Battletech is a goated Franchise and Mechwarrior is a great spin to the game
Playing this game with mods is the most fun you can have without a library card
Tried to give it as many chances as I could to catch my failing attention span but I couldn't get drawn in.
