Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

iTS A GREAT GAME
nothing else scratches the itch from the classic Mech Warrior days
游戏很好玩,就是没中文,如果有可能玩这个游戏的人会多起来,否则你就算打折到90%,都不会买。
Been playing Mechwarrior and reading the Battletech books since the early-mid 90's so I have quite a bit of experience with the franchise. That said, compared to other entries in the series, this one is a solid outing. The Battletech universe is a sprawling one with it's games focused more around the simulation aspect of piloting a 20-100 ton walking tank known as a battlemech as well as commanding your lancemates, all the while managing your paramilitary outfit. You can salvage parts off of the wrecked husks of former adversaries to upgrade your own mech's or to just keep them fully operational for the next fight. It's a grimdark universe where the technology is actually very old to the point where many of the factories that produced the mechs have been destroyed so oftentimes, recovering an enemy's mech and hosing the former pilot out of the wrecked cockpit before recirculating the battlemech back to the frontlines can be a much cheaper option that buying one off of mercenary Mercari. Now, as I said, these games lean into the simulation aspect of piloting 400+ year old janky machines that break often and smell like the guy who got melted right where you're sitting way back 3 pilots ago. Unless you pilot a smaller, and lighter mech (a totally viable option BTW) it's going to feel like you're driving a Panzer across France. This is not an arcade'y shooter; it's fairly slow-paced but not as slow as World of Tanks. Even the lightest mechs will pack more of a punch than a WWII tank so your finger wont come off of the trigger THAT much but your gunnery needs to be accurate and methodical. You need to learn to independently rotate your torso while you are receiving fire to attempt to spread shots out across your body in an effort to preserve your armor. And you need to manage heat....ohhhhh, heat. Fights are won and lost in this game with heat management or lack thereof. You have a meter that displays the cockpit temperature of your mech, learn to watch it in your peripheral vision. These 500 year old robots might have felt better back in their heyday but after centuries of use and misuse it feels like they removed the central air to fit another gun and handed you a desk fan instead. Every weapon you fire generates heat and that heat bleeds into the little tomato can you're sitting in. Heat up too much and your mech will automatically begin shut down procedures to attempt to rapidly cool the mech. But Magic, what if I'm shutting down and I'm 5 feet from a mech double my size? You can Shift+O to engage manual shutdown override and force your mech to stay in the fight despite the cockpit being at a dangerous 120 degrees and chassis temps at several hundred degrees. But then all of a sudden your left arm explodes as the stored gun ammunition starts cooking off because of the heat, taking half of your weapons. Battletech baby. There's only a few bad mechs but lots of bad pilots. The game isn't for everyone but people make the point of entry to these games seem so much higher than it actually is. So here's the biggest three things that'll help you have a better time if this is baby's first Battlemech: 1.) Watch Your Heat Gauge: Once you redline, stop shooting. It's tough to do because you want to keep killing, but trust me. If you shut down it's likely you're going to get beat on. 2.) Weapon Groups: If you shoot all of your weapons at once, depending what you're piloting, you're probably going to overheat and shut your mech down immediately. Set your weapon groups to your liking in training mode. Mine changes depending on what I'm in and I play with a 4-button mouse; for most builds, if I have 3 weapon types on my loadout I will set one button for each. If I need more than 4 buttons, I need a different mech build. 3.) Try New Things: There are so many different mechs in the Battletech universe and we probably don't like all the same ones. A lot of stock builds aren't always the best meta-wise but it's still worth trying them to explore weapon combos and see what you like. You can usually get your weapon groups set to 2 or 3 and then go nuts. Customization of your mechs is a HUGE part of the game so use it. There's so much I'm leaving out but it's a good game if you like X-Com like organization management, World of Tanks like driving, and methodical shooters. There are a lot of mods that improve enemy AI, unit management, and graphics. With DLC and mods I give it: A very biased 8.5/10
big mech and big gun
Does kinda require HotIS and SoK dlc but genuinely this is one of the greatest games i've ever played. Hugely fun with friends too, as well. Definitely does require dlcs to get the best experience but the vanilla campaign is honestly worth full price. Get the dlcs on sale whenever possible though
