Perfect for those who love stompy mechs and strategy. I love how deceivingly hard this game is. You would think a simple pixel art game like Mech Shuffle would be casual, but there are a lot of systems and events that might be confusing to new players at first. The token based, chess-like perfect info style if very unique. I've played a LARGE amount of Hearthstone, Gwent, Runeterra, and the difficulty really ramps up for me after the third wave. The dev seems to care a lot about the game and there are lots of content patches. Really liking the newest visual upgrades. The game has a surprising amount of depth. I love the different ways the mech cards and pilot cards work together and all the different upgrade paths you can take. Collecting all the mechs is definitely one of the best parts of the game. Similar to FTL, there are variants of the mechs for you to collect too! 10/10 would recommend. Long live the Dodo!
The game's mechanics revolves around a deeply engaging system of planning multiple turns ahead while still being able to react to the opponent's strategy as it unfolds. Very simple to learn but really enjoyable to master, absolutely worth the 10 bucks. The game as of writing is still in in really early access, but what it does have will still keep you busy for a few hours. Cannot wait to see what else is in store for this game.
A small game, but surprisingly a lot of depth. At first, it was confusing that you'd be able to see what your opponent had to work with; but there are so many strategies you can pull off, it makes sense in order to properly plan out your turn. The concept is great, a mech based card battler that allows you to progress through a non linear campaign. I think with further expansions this would be hard to put down. At the time of writing this, the game is in early access. However, there's enough here to munch on that you won't go hungry. Looking forward to the future updates.
I highly recommend buying and playing this game, for people who value a unique experience, at the time of writing this review, with these qualities:

Easy to learn and stream lined flow
Satisfying and not overwhelming experience, partly because information is very visually communicated and is enough to help us accurately predict outcomes and make better decisions
Solid pacing, because this is a turn based game
High replay value, thanks to the slightly random nature of a card game and variety of decks or card combinations
The challenge seems balanced, with not too little difficulty and not too much difficulty
The game play is pretty addictive. The random card rewards after missions, unlocking different mechs/pilots, being able to mix different pilots with different mechs give a lot of replay value. I'm looking forward to future content : )
I like that you see the options available to your opponent, deciding which cards to play based on which they have available is an interesting puzzle.
I've enjoyed it, it's a fun game. Picking both a pilot and a mech to start a new run with means that even with the same mech you can switch things up. In one of the few games vs a person I played we brought out a Medusa and a Taurus, and just blew the heck out of each other. In another, I got chipped away at by a Dodo until my behemoth fell over. It's quite well balanced for pvp so far, I like how the power creep works in your favor for the main game mode. Looking forward to what the developer does to improve on this already good game.
Interesting game, seems complicated at first but its actually quite easy to understand. Art work/style is something to be desired, however I'm sure this is only a first draft of how it will look in the end. Looking forward to seeing how this game develops.
This is a very simple to learn mech based card battle game, but don't let that fool you. This game has a good amount of difficulty to it. However, the difficulty is fair, as you are always able to see what your opponent can do, so you can plan out your strategy accordingly. In addition, there are many different mechs and pilots to combine to make each run feel different.
