MDK2 HD

i've grown up with MDK/MDK2 and MDK2 is the best game that i've played in the entirety of my life. 100% needs a remake!

The game doesnt work on Steam Deck. Well not exactly. It works, but it has a glitch where textures are not visible making the game basically invisible. I don't know how to fix this. If someone knows please reply or make a guide on steam guides. Other than Steam Deck the game runs flawlesly on Windows 10. Great game by the way, and even better HD remaster!!!

Jogado em meados de 2024, está impecável da parte gráfica, sem crashes ou bugs, roda liso em trocentos quadros por segundo,,, O jogo é bom, mas o primeiro é melhor. Aqui exageraram nas charadinhas, as fases com o véio cientista são irritantes. Ainda bem que o cachorro salva o dia, mandando bala pra todo lado!

This game holds up great and takes me back to when I first played it. A little challenging at times but nothing a little look around the map can't fix.

Meh. Bought this game 9 years ago in hopes to get past the first level (I was stuck there playing as a kid), but the game did not let save me anything. (Maybe because of the keyboard layout, it seems to support only ASCII symbols) So, I forgot about it. 9 years ago and there's a solution - to use a default scheme to be able to change the keys and the saves started to work. And so I played. And...nothing interesting. Besides the urge to make it past level 1 there really was nothing interesting or engaging to keep me playing. The plot is sometimes funny like there's jokes and gags, but there's too little of it. Max gameplay is both fun and boring, Dr. Hawking gameplay is OK, but I lacked a few hints on how to progress further (for example, I was doing the right thing, but not doing it enough. Looking at a walkthrought and I'm like "Really?") Kurt gameplay is interesting, but sometimes frustrating. Again, not enough information - somehow Sniper Shield makes me invisible in Sniper Mode. How the heck am I supposed to know that? I thought it's just some kind of kevlar or armor, to lose less HP. But no, it also keeps me steady in front of enemy projectiles. Wow... So the game is non-intuitive, at times frustrating and often boring. Nothing interesting.

Ben bilgisayarla ilk tanıştığım zaman benim ilk oyunum bu oyundu. Bende yeri çok ayrıdır, maziye dönmek güzel oluyor arada. Zamanına göre çok güzel bir oyun ama nedense tutulmayan ve çabuk unutulan bir oyun. O zaman böylesine bir oyun şahaneydi. Yinede bazı kısımlar gerçekten insanı zorluyor. Bazen lan ne yapacağım burada diye düşünüp duruyorsunuz. Her şeye rağmen güzel bir oyundu. Umarım bir gün remake yada remasted sürümü gelir. -Oyuna gelecek olursak, HD diye yeniden piyasaya sürmüşler ama eskisinden bir farkı yok. Bana sorarsanız bu fiyata bunu almayın derim. Eskisini de alabilirsiniz. Beğenmediğim yönleri ise (yok). Çünkü bu oyun kıymetini bilene bir harika.

Other than the original version, I have no chance of playing it in 16:9, the game crashes when changing controls in the options, developers just don't care anymore. A disaster of a HD version and it's a shame since the new models look really nice.

Cresci vendo meus primos jogarem esse jogo num windowns XP e desde a gameplay, gráficos e a música eu me apaixonei. Ele tem uma campanha relativamente rápida porém só tive a oportunidade de zera-lo depois de adulto e por conta disso a nostalgia bateu forte. Pra quem curte uma gameplay tranquila e engraçada recomendo fortemente, divertido demais!

Bought this game, didn’t work, it’s not going to get fixed, got a refund. Absolutely play this game if you can find it on Dreamcast or PS2, but be wary of this port.
