About
You and your friends are test subjects sent by the Dastardly Intelligence Hub into the depths of Subject "The Maze", the creation of the horrifying creature Maze Creep... an extremely intelligent predator who can hear, track your movement, and even check hiding places.
Maze Creep!! is a stealth-focused satire of the horror genre, unafraid to exaggerate horror tropes to their most ridiculous extremes. Descend through an infinite series of procedurally generated mazes, scavenging resources while trying to find the central exit. Meanwhile, you are being hunted by Maze Creep, as well as 40+ additional monsters that get worse the deeper you push.
Maze Creep is very hard on it's intended difficulty, but offers lower difficulties and the ability to customize the experience to be even easier for a more casual experience. The lobby host is responsible for the level of difficulty, as the most brutal settings and the most relaxed are night and day.
Search each procedurally generated maze for doubloons to use in the shop, equipment to aid in navigation and escape deadly situations, and to find the exit to progress deeper. As you descend, stranger environments and more dangerous hazards will begin to appear. Tight spaces, aged locations, baffling things that seem like a joke, even casinos await.
Evade (sometimes) intelligent enemies which do not cheat to find you (unless they do), which can be tricked but not fought (unless they can). The game has a focus on stealth over confrontation against most enemies that create joint threats with one another that must be solved using your items, wits, and the environment. Most enemies are entirely organic, wandering the maze with zero knowledge of where players are, forced to find you through sight and sound.
Maze Creep can hear you sprint, jump, even speak, from any distance. Many other enemies can utilize hearing as well. Utilize stealth and speak softly to evade detection. If you can't, enjoy an infinite stamina pool, you'll need it.

Game is genuinely fun with friends, extremely difficult as you progress deeper into the depths. I think more defensive/offensive items would help alot against the mountain of enemies they throw at you in depth 10+. More variety of items, more variety of enemies, more more MORE.
joined a lobby some dude started talking about joining a podcast, then watched my girlfriend get hit over the head with a brick and clip through a fountain twice where a dev watched mercilessly. great game!
hello....i am a disgusting fat gross nasty ass slob, amd i just wanna say in my 4 HOURS OF PLAYING....this MIGHT be GOTY please make more and PLEASE add me to the game! i WILL give you 50 dollars! THANK you and god bless :prayinghands: :steamhappy:
Im ngl this game is way better then i thought it was gonna be 👍 Looking forward the next updates
Smashed a devil over the head with a brick while pulling a dinky flashlight so I could see where I was going, peak game, 10/10 no notes.
Maze creep is a 4/10 for me, the game has potential to be great but it doesnt feel fully finished despite the version, graphics dont matter but the game feels clunky, spectating doesnt feel satisfying, the enemy doesnt telegraph or hint it's mechanic, the main enemy that hears the sound doesnt feel fun to go against, any other enemy that i have encountered (which was 3) wasnt quite fun to go against aswell this game has potential, it just doesnt feel like it's cooked enough to be on steam that costs 6,89$
