For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its premise is to be meta. It does that in ok ways. It is a fun game with physics which is neat for the style. The last fight on the vehicle drags a bit but the experience as a whole was a fun one.
unforgiving. Has good checkpoints but it doesn't help

Mayhem in Single Valley is a distinctive indie adventure developed by Fluxscopic Ltd. and published by tinyBuild. Blending action, puzzles, exploration, and narrative-driven gameplay, it presents a strange yet captivating journey through a small town thrown into chaos by an environmental disaster. What begins as a seemingly ordinary day for a rebellious teenager quickly escalates into a chain of events involving toxic contamination, mutated wildlife, government secrets, and a looming catastrophe. The game embraces absurdity from the start, but beneath its eccentric premise lies a surprisingly sincere story about family bonds, personal responsibility, and the difficult transition from adolescence to adulthood. The setting is one of the game's strongest qualities. Single Valley is far more than a simple backdrop; it feels like a believable community filled with colorful personalities, hidden stories, and interconnected locations. As players guide Jack through neighborhoods, forests, schools, industrial facilities, and other areas, they gradually uncover both the town’s mysteries and the consequences of the disaster spreading across the region. Exploration is constantly rewarded through secret paths, optional discoveries, and environmental details that enrich the world. Every new location introduces fresh ideas and challenges, preventing the adventure from feeling repetitive despite its relatively focused scope. Gameplay centers on creative interaction with the environment rather than traditional combat. Jack can carry, throw, and manipulate numerous objects, and solving problems often requires experimentation. Many situations encourage players to think outside the box, whether they are distracting enemies, creating pathways, activating machinery, or using environmental hazards to their advantage. This emphasis on physics-based puzzles and object interaction gives the game a unique identity. Instead of relying heavily on weapons or combat upgrades, progression comes from understanding how the world works and using available tools in clever ways. The puzzle design is consistently inventive and ties directly into the game's environmental themes. Toxic waste, contaminated creatures, and malfunctioning equipment frequently become key components of the challenges players face. The solutions rarely feel repetitive because the game continuously introduces new mechanics and scenarios. While some puzzles may occasionally require trial and error, they generally reward observation and experimentation. This design philosophy encourages curiosity and makes players feel actively involved in shaping the outcome of events rather than simply following objective markers. Narratively, Mayhem in Single Valley balances humor and emotional storytelling remarkably well. The writing frequently shifts between absurd comedy and heartfelt drama without losing coherence. Jack is portrayed as a flawed but relatable protagonist whose mistakes have significant consequences. His relationships with family members, friends, and townspeople provide emotional depth that elevates the experience beyond a standard adventure game. As the story unfolds, themes of guilt, forgiveness, and personal growth emerge naturally, giving the narrative a surprising level of maturity. The game's willingness to explore serious topics while maintaining its quirky tone is one of its greatest achievements. Visually, the pixel-art presentation is both charming and expressive. The colorful environments contrast effectively with the darker elements of the story, creating a memorable atmosphere that feels both whimsical and unsettling. Character animations are lively, environmental effects help convey the spread of contamination, and each region of the map possesses a distinct visual identity. Despite using a retro-inspired art style, the game demonstrates considerable attention to detail and successfully creates a world filled with personality. The audio design complements the experience well. The soundtrack adapts to different situations, ranging from lighthearted exploration themes to more dramatic and suspenseful tracks during critical moments. Sound effects add weight to environmental interactions and help reinforce the game's immersive qualities. Together, the music and audio contribute significantly to the emotional impact of both comedic and dramatic scenes. One area where the game occasionally struggles is pacing. Certain objectives require backtracking across previously explored areas, which can temporarily slow momentum. Some puzzle solutions may also feel obscure for players who prefer more direct guidance. Additionally, while combat encounters serve their purpose, they are generally less engaging than the exploration and puzzle-solving aspects. Fortunately, these shortcomings are relatively minor compared to the game's overall strengths and rarely diminish the enjoyment of the adventure. What ultimately sets Mayhem in Single Valley apart is its originality. It successfully combines environmental puzzles, small-town mystery, dark comedy, coming-of-age storytelling, and ecological themes into a cohesive package that feels unlike most other indie games. Its willingness to embrace bizarre ideas while maintaining emotional sincerity gives it a unique voice. The game constantly surprises players with unexpected situations, memorable characters, and inventive mechanics, ensuring that the journey remains engaging from beginning to end. Mayhem in Single Valley is a creative and heartfelt adventure that offers much more than its quirky premise initially suggests. Its imaginative world, clever puzzle design, strong storytelling, and distinctive presentation make it a standout indie title. While a few pacing issues and occasional moments of frustration prevent it from achieving perfection, the overall experience remains highly enjoyable and memorable. Players who appreciate story-rich adventures, exploration-focused gameplay, and unconventional indie experiences will find plenty to admire in this unusual trip through a town on the brink of disaster.
