quality is acceptable for play once, but not for twice. after I played 6 hours I chose to "save"; it shows "saving" on the right corner, but turns out it went with "load+auto save"; where my current progress got lost and autosave got overwrite by a random load as well. I am so surprised that this game has no way to get back to where I left(or even close), I have to redo the entire chapter one from the very beginning, losing about half of my playing history. Play safe, the auto save logic is broken - on which planet you an autosave right after load a "suggesting save point"? Also, the story and progress is fine for first time, but completely boring if I have to repeat what I have done(run back and forth in map) for over 2hr playing. Story/scene itself - consider it as a downgrade of danganronpa. I don't like to see "open world" elements inside of a danganronpa series game. The side stories just waste of life. Also I randomly lost the focus while using xbox controller; have to get it back with mouse. Would give it a positive if I never met "save" issue; overall experience is fine for first-time play.

With all the charm and more from the creators of the Danganronpa series, this game was an incredible and suspenseful joyride to play. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this game. I look forward to supporting the dev team even after splitting off from Spike Chunsoft. If you're a Danganronpa fan that wants a good mystery adventure with a slightly darker tone and more interactive gameplay, give this game a go.
I think this is one of my favorite games of all time but with that comes some setbacks as all things aren't perfect. But let's start with the greats, what a hook of a beginning. Their is so much brilliance in the express mystery and even just from the get-go the whole world is clouded in mystery. Skipping all the boring rambling aside, I think it is best to go into this game not on the idea of danganronpa but as its own game alone. Going into this expecting danganronpa will obviously haze your vision. Pros: -Amazing opener, sure the cliche amnesiac thing can be a bit tiresome but just give this story a chance. -Characters, the characters can be stereotypical but the deeper you go into the story they become a bit more rounded than initially thought. They seem dislikable at first but they definitely warm up to you. -Visuals are stunning and got that danganronpaesue style that many love -Mysteries are great and although it may not seem like it at first they all seemingly connect. -Yomi Hellsmile is villain af bro is evil for the love of the game -Gameplay can be a bit hit or miss depending on your tolerance to repetitiveness but with my experience with the danganronpa games I just take it from a different point of view. The repetitive nature of the game allows you to be more comfortable and familiar with the controls, giving you that sense of you know what you must do sort of putting you in the spot of "this isn't new anymore, I know how to go about this". ****SPOILER**** -I loved the cleverness of the pink blood being explained, I and many others probably thought it was just design choice because of our familiarity with the other games but it does make me wonder how those who are unfamiliar with the danganronpa series saw the blood. You may think that there are some holes in this too as possibly the other detectives would have saw something strange but the world itself answers why it didn't stand out. Cons: -I wish the mystery labyrinth was actually maze like, I didn't really appreciate the holding W (or holding analog stick forward) segments of the labyrinth, some of it made sense when conversations between characters would occur during but I think putting us in an actual maze with twists and turns along the way would've been cool. It is easier said than done and might actually deter people even more hence why they stuck to just the holding W thing but maybe there is an alternate route they could have thought of. -Progressing through the game sure Yuma's character changes but his mannerisms of change only seem to show in specific moments, I wish they would've showed it more in his small mannerisms like changing the cutscenes a little bit where his blood is used, I know it's terrifying to get the scythe to the neck but maybe they could have given him different cutscenes to make it more unique and slightly progressive over the game.
Quando zerei pela primeira vez, impactou-me tal como Zelda BOTW, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 e Life is Strange.

An absolutely abysmal gameplay experience. I truly cannot express how miserably awful these mini-games are, and that's coming from a fan of the Danganronpa series. Truly regret purchasing this even if the Prologue case itself was moderately fine.
