Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mask of the Rose ended up being a pleasant surprise. It's got some originality to it with a story that kept throwing unexpected twists my way. I loved the romance options, the eerie atmosphere that never crossed into horror, and the way every character had a distinct personality with believable motivations. The choice system is one of the highlights. Your decisions matter, the different endings are worth experiencing, and I always felt like my actions were shaping the story in meaningful ways. My only real issue was that there's alot of information to keep track of. I found myself forgetting who certain characters were, which faction they belonged to, and what each group stood for. That's probably more of a "me" problem than a fault of the game. I'd value it closer to $15, though it goes on sale for much less fairly often. If you enjoy choice-driven stories with memorable characters and a unique setting, it's definitely worth picking up on sale.
If you enjoyed Fallen London, you'll enjoy this.

you fk mister pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was recommended to me and since it was on sale I thought why not. The artwork is nice! Which is often a make-or-break deal for me with these types of games. The characters are interesting with a wide range of backgrounds and cultures on display (as it should be in London)! And I am enjoying the mysteries unfolding. HOWEVER, I feel like I am missing a lot of references or context for certain things. While I feel you do not need to know the wider Fallen London franchise, (I have no experience of Fallen London beyond this game) it probably does help to know the other games or series as a whole to be more aware/informed on certain things. There is also the matter of how the game itself plays, I’m not sure how to explain it other than at times I feel like I am fighting with the game or missing things/clues/context? That might better help me muddle through certain choices. I also feel that there should be more time (days/month/seasons) to explore because while you can solve certain puzzles it feels like you can only do one thing at a time and while I am enjoying this game, I don’t want to have to do twenty or thirty playthroughs to get through this entire game and its achievements. And yet somehow I feel like the game can also drag in places, especially when you do repeat playthroughs. The mini-games, the story crafting aspect while fun feels like it gets in the way of the plot of the story, or progressing the plot, I have to hunt around for things for the mini-games while also being on a deadline to complete certain stories, so if I do not get the right info on time I cannot get the outcome I want. The romances and friendships in this game also feel weird. The first romance I tried failed because I could not save him in time, I’m still not sure how to get him out of prison, (again the story crafting mini-game is causing me some grief). The second romance I tried was a little better, (Mr. Pages,) but aside from the surprise of what he was (again I feel knowing about this franchise before hand helps) I was somewhat confused about certain things. It does not feel intuitive, other visual novel romances are simple, a lot in this game feels unnecessarily complicated. I know I’m not the best at puzzle games, but this doesn’t even feel like a puzzle game, it feels like a murder mystery that doesn’t actually want you to solve the mystery and while that would be interesting in of itself I do not think that is what the Dev’s intended. Its weird, it frustrates me and yet I am inspired to check out the rest of the Fallen London series now because of this bloody game. I do recommend it, but please don’t ask me why I like it, I just do?
A strange and delicious game! This wasn't really what I expected from a dating sim, but nothing fallen London ever offers is ever quite what I expect, is it? I found that I enjoyed it the most when roleplaying my character as a proper menace of Fallen London, flirting with everybody, lying ceaselessly about who I used to be up above, entangling myself with every horror I could find. When you make it to the strange underbelly, the depths of this game are fascinating, and the way that intimacy reveals more of who each character is is intriguing and rewarding. Not sure how I rate it as a dating sim, but as a delicious slice of London Below's world, I enjoyed it.
неплохой атосферный детективчик) на мой вкус для второго и последующих прохождений становится чуть затянуто, но в целом - с кайфом
The diversity! The drama! The lore!
After 4 playthroughs (which took over 48 hours), I can say this is one of my favorite visual novels. If you like text-based games, romance sims, and detective work, this is a solid choice. 9/10
I regret having bought this so rashly. It is definitely not for me. It says its a "dating sim" but it has 0 romance, and what is there is, to me, not good writing...
I don't know why I bought this. Probably because I loved Sunless skies which was their previous game. This is just a text based novel game with some eldritch stuff thrown in and several romance options. You're supposed to play this over and over again to explore different stories but nothing really captivates here.
