Mask City

Mask City is a visual novel, in which the erotic action scenes are outsourced to a R18 DLC. This MC is a super hero and the graphics and storytelling are made in a comic style. “Chapter zero” in the title lets us assume that this is an unfinished story. It’s the unusual opposite, it’s a complete story and the dev wants to say that perhaps he’ll do more stories with this MC. The story is ok for an AVN, but too simple and predictable for a normal VN. The choices don’t influence the main story, only small branches with different achievements, which all leads back to the main road. It’s not a Ren’Py game, I miss some comfort like the function to skip only text which I know already. There is a demo in the Steam shop. Without the DLC there is no erotic action and no gallery. These 9 erotic action scenes are good and have sound effects (moans), animations and choices. Not in every country you can buy the DLC in the steam shop. It’s fun, but the actual price of 12€ (+2€) for 5h gameplay is not cheap.

The artwork is stunning, with a visual identity that stays true to the comic book aesthetic: bold linework and vivid colors. The character art is also very expressive, with the characters changing postures and facial expressions every couple of lines or so. Comic book panel sequences are used to bring action scenes to life. These are framed exactly as they would be in a printed comic, complete with dramatic interjections splashed across the screen: “WOOSH” when the superhero lands, [b]POW![/b] during an attack, and so on. It really makes you feel like you're not just reading a story but living inside a comic book panel. The plot itself unravels at a good pace, and it’s written with a catchy tone that keeps you on your toes all the time. Don't let the "Chapter Zero" in the title mislead you into thinking this is a short prologue or an appetizer for a larger series. This is a complete, full story that will take you roughly eight hours to read through. The "Chapter Zero" in the name refers to something specific and deeply integrated into the plot itself, but it also suggests that this game is the origin story of the hero, with potentially one sequel planned for the future. There is only one ending, so regardless of what you pick, you'll always come back to the main path. Most choices simply branch into a few alternate dialogue lines that resolve immediately, though 3-4 of them carry mild repercussions later in the story, subtly reshaping certain exchanges without altering the plot's course. Several choices are also tied to mutually exclusive achievements, which gives completionists a reason to replay (or just load a save from a few moments earlier). Despite not being built in a dedicated VN engine like Ren'Py, the game supports up to 50 manual saves, letting you save before branching choices to explore alternate dialogue. One notable downside is the absence of a skip-unseen-text function, a common limitation outside of Ren'Py, which means a second playthrough to explore all the choices you might not have picked already requires a fair amount of extra clicking. Thankfully, an auto-forward text feature is available, and both its pace and the overall reading speed can be tuned from the settings menu. After being unlocked in the main game, spicy scenes can be revisited from the Gallery menu, which is otherwise unavailable to non-DLC owners. The content itself is substantial for the price, though the writing during these scenes is a really weak point. The dialogue (consisting mostly of dirty-talking) is basic, repetitive, and lacks the energy of the main story. A few animations also look rough around the edges, though the majority are well done. Without the DLC, these scenes are replaced by a static kiss image with looping audio, which is a noticeable step down. Vamos lá! Em mask city voce é o super-heroi da cidade que luta para mantela segura porem assasinatos começa a acontecer, será que é sua vilã instinct? será que ela passaria de uma ladra para assasina? oque será que esta acontecendo? caberá a voce o heroi da cidade tenta-la salvar novamente!. O jogo tem uma historia muito boa lembrando muito historinhas em quadrinhos! me fazendo lembrar principalmente de uma mistura entre batman e superman, o jogo me faz perceber que é um tema pouco explorado no genero e com bastante potencial!, A renders são muito bonitas com varias coisas lembrando muito quadrinhos como Onomatopeia,estilo de artes etc. Sinceramente é um jogo muito bom e eu recomendo ainda mais se tiver em uma promoção, como disse anteriormente o jogo se destaca por ter esse genero de herois que é um genero pouco explorado em jogos adultos e que consegue agradar! o jogo ele tem começo meio e fim deixando ganchos para outros capitulos que mal posso esperar.

[h1]成人游戏里的超级英雄也是英雄 [/h1] 之前看到《Mask City》这款游戏本来以为是纯玩梗的，没想到却真在描写一位超级英雄，只不过不需要那么多的成长，一开始就很厉害，然后经过反派的诬陷成为通缉犯，还被自己最亲近的人所怀疑，不过即使面对这种情形他也没有忘记拯救众人，他是一名真正意义上的英雄。 游戏是纯视觉小说玩法，一些选项和成就有关，不过基本不影响剧情走向。主角名字和超级英雄称号可以自定义，不过能力都是力气大这种，类似“美队”“蝙蝠侠”这种比正常人身体素质强许多，但没有逆天的能力。主角是超级英雄，也是警局的犯罪现场摄像师，真实身份只有自己的哥哥知道。他有一个经常对峙的女反派，叫Instinct，虽然偷盗但从不杀人。不过这次的珠宝抢劫案，被击晕的保安却真的死了，同一天晚上珠宝的主人法官Abernathy也被杀死在公园里，所有的疑点都指向了Instinct。但经过长时间的接触，主角认为凶手应该另有奇人。但没想到，迷恋自己的保安的妹妹MAI偷拍下他和Instinct接吻的场景，并指认主角（超级英雄）才是凶手，一时间男主成为了通缉犯，就连警局的老搭档CARMEN也开始怀疑他，他真的变得走投无路了！ 总体来说，剧情展开很有超级英雄的叙事体验，拯救各位女主角，用身体记忆唤醒她们的原本记忆还是挺有意思的。成人内容的加入也恰到好处，不会太出戏，比如男主和保安妹妹一夜情之后发现保安死了，他会自责，不应该疏忽大意。至于H场景的数量还是挺丰富的，静态动态CG混合进行，一个女角色差不多有三个H事件，最后结局还有和反派以及警局搭档三人行的戏码，看着还挺爽。 个人感觉，游戏的剧情设计、H内容、女主角颜值都很不错，最后结局男主和哥哥一起去了大城市，这个地方由他的老搭档来守护，其中一个金发美女ZOE也去了同一个地方，不知道续作会不会遇到，期待主角在大城市的香艳历险。 [quote] 闲暇时光，不妨试试游戏。 欢迎关注[url=store.steampowered.com/curator/45653622/] 闲暇時光鉴赏组 [/url] [/quote]

A great visual novel written by the author Aaron Crash this is an amazing start to Visual Novels by him and hopefully he can turn some of his own books into some in the future. This has a little of everything, superhoes, serial killers and feisty old people.
