The characters have nice whimsical personalities, and it captures the feeling of some of my favorite Anime when I see them during their various cutscene and story bits. Absolutely charming. At the time of this review the story bits easily give you about 2-4 hours of gameplay, and then you have a bunch more by doing the repeatable levels that are focused on helping you gain resources which can be used to buy new weapons and gear from the shop. I'm not a Bullet Hell dude, but certainly enjoy Action RPGs, SHMUPs, and Hack 'n Slash games. This is far more Action RPG a la Diablo than Bullet Hell. But we do get very specific moments where the game is absolutely a Bullet Hell. That's mostly during boss fights, but you'll also see it when fighting some enemies. Of the 6 characters you can play as, I spent most of my time with the blue team. Because I like blue. Each side is fairly similar in how combat works, but I feel like our Blue team has slightly better specials and standard attacks which gives them an edge up. To make this shorter, I'm just going to say yes. I absolutely recommend this. It's a charming game, with a very addictive gameplay loop. I sat down to play for an hour, and didn't get up until I'd played 4 hours. It just sucks you right in. It reminds me of the days I used to play Diablo for hours. This game is an absolute gem.

"Marmoreal" is a cute mix between action RPG and bullet hell game with anime girls and one huge breasted vampire-pyromancer. Yes, vampires and fire usually don't match well, i know. Perhaps the tits are helping. Interestingly enough, the game actually have a story and two factions with different quests and heroes. Does that means that in future the game will have different paths and endings? I don't know. Anyway, the game is, as i said, cute. Perhaps the price is a bit too high for a game of this type and quality, but i had fun..and i got the game for free :) Video: https://youtu.be/CykaCuYOGsI

Played through the 5 story levels and several of the endless dungeons; about 5 hours of total content. Core combat was consistently satisfying and engaging. The playable characters started off feeling a little samey, but eventually developed distinct playstyles that complemented the party-system. Switching characters on the fly to adapt to situations or manage resources was interesting and novel, but took some getting use to due to how fast-paced the game is. Enemy variety was good and the boss encounters were a big highlight of the demo. A lot of the equipment was just minor number changes, but there were also items that totally changed an individual character's main or special attacks and it felt like there were a lot of options overall. Later levels were very long and had some cool secrets, but the large map sizes (especially for the map with the mirror puzzles) felt like they would benefit from some kind of fast travel or out-of-combat speed boost to reduce backtracking. Overall, really promising demo and the gameplay is already fun, even for people who might not find the visual style appealing.

Works well on Linux with Proton. Cool visuals.
