Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Mark of Cain
What FPS was meant to be: fast, brutal, and just a little bit cursed.
Mark of Cain is a retro-inspired 2.5D arena shooter in the blood-soaked spirit of Doom, Quake, and Ultrakill but with a twisted edge all its own.
Play as John Demonhunter, a demon-slaying Greek badass cursed by God Himself to suffer eternal life—and eternal combat.
After centuries of slaughter, John got cocky.
The big guy upstairs took offense and branded him with the Mark of Cain a glowing symbol of divine punishment that ensures he can never die… but also never rest. Now Devil, seeing a golden opportunity, unleashes wave after wave of hellspawn, meme-fueled bosses, and cursed chaos to make John's unkillable life a living nightmare.
Welcome to a world where every demon is an inside joke, every death is a punchline, and survival is just the setup for the next round of absurdity.
Classic Arena FPS Madness
5 weapon loadouts, secrets, blood and dopamine. Inspired by the best of the '90s but unshackled from nostalgia. Run, gun, bunny-hop, wall jump, and blast through dense enemies in tight, explosive maps.
Old-School Campaign Mode
Battle through the campaign inspired by Quake and Doom, featuring episodic content released for free as development progresses. Each episode expands the lore, introduces new enemies, and pushes John Demonhunter further into divine damnation.
Breakcore Soundtrack (Made by Me, Because Who Else Could Handle It?)
Rip and tear to an original breakcore soundtrack composed by the developer pure chaos, distortion, and adrenaline.
Making Fun of The Whole Genre
Face off against bosses that mock modern gaming, from the Ad Boss who spams you with unskippable ads every time you get hit, to the Tiny Flea who exists solely to shove you off ledges while insulting your skill.
4 Player Split-Screen in this Economy????
He is John Demonhunter, He is John Demonhunter, You are John Demonhunter, I'm John Demonhunter, are there any other John Demonhunters I should know about!?

I want to start by saying that i absolutely loved the demo for the game. There were a few bugs here and there but i just put it off as it being the free demo. When i got the update that this released today i was very exited because i wanted to see how the finished game looked. Needless to say i was kinda disappointed that that the first three levels were the same but i had my hopes up for level 4. And I loaded in and was even more disappointed. The level was a "Tutorial". why would you made the fourth level a tutorial? that should like a option not a level. but i got through it hopping that it will maybe get better. But level 5 was just a slightly edited version of level 4. but like before i trudged along. level 6 was a boss which was neat but my problem with the boss levels and really how the levels work as a whole is that you can just skip all of the fighting and hidden content and just run to the exit. why fight and get ammo when you can bunny hop your way to the exit? any way i get to level seven and it was alright the labyrinth was kinda cool, but where i called it quits was with level 8. if you want to to get the mark of Cain experience go to level 8. Ultimately, i feel like this game wants to be many things. the meta humor of cruelty squad, the game play of doom, and some how throwing parkour into the mix. is this possible? sure but this game does not deliver on it. Now this could just be a skill issue on my behalf but i really don't think it is, i feel like the parkour is really hard and next to nearly impossible. I know that this game just came out and in its infancy, but i hope that it gets better than the state that it is in now.
Too buggy, seems vibecoded
we got game of the year before GTA 6
Mark of Cain is one of the most refreshing FPS games I’ve played in a long time. It has some serious platforming, and you really have to use the bhop mechanic to survive and move efficiently, which I absolutely love. The game is hard and doesn’t go easy on you, but it always feels fair, and finally pulling off a tough section is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, the map editor is honestly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in an FPS, and it adds so much creativity and replay value.
I played this game for 30 minutes and finished it. I'm incredibly impressed with it. It's still in its infancy, and there are many maps that can be completed in just a few seconds. I also want to point out that you can complete the level without even killing the boss. It's still a rough game, but I'm sure it will be as popular as Doom or Ultrakill in the future...
im cyrfing this si so emotn al man

very fun and silly but by god the wall jump is horrible and poorly explained.
