Good game but there is a problem thoughout that i cant share remote play which causing keeping losing the game...
I've played New Super Marisa Land before this, and yes, it is the better game of the two by scope, content, and overall level & world design, but this is still another really solid Twilight Frontier release. On top of that, if you're going into this expecting the same quality as that of some official 2D Mario entries or even some highly regarded fan-games / romhacks (i.e. Super Mario Bros. X), then you MAY be disappointed. Controls are similar to the last game (aka very heavy and stiff, but manageable). Hell, controlling Marisa in mid-air is way heavier than it is to control on ground. For example, moving in mid-air while at a standstill doesn't have an acceleration at all compared to SMB1, and her max running speed is drastically faster than her max walking speed before that, and trying to turn in mid-air while at that max speed is pretty damn difficult which becomes an issue if you mess up a jump and wanna get back. The level design is mostly solid in the main campaign, albeit possibly repetitive for anybody who doesn't like SMB1 level design. Now, as someone who likes SMB1 a lot and way more than the next two games + Lost Levels, I really enjoyed these. The hard levels you unlock after beating the game, though, have just as much quality as the levels from Lost Levels (aka pretty ♥♥♥♥ level design). The addition of Alice as a playable character is pretty cool, especially since she has her Marisa doll projectile. She makes some of the hard levels much more manageable to go through. Also, easily the best part of the game, and probably not a surprise to anybody who's played any of the previous games, is that FIRE OST!!! Easily some of the best tunes in the whole Marisa Land saga, despite them being (banger) arrangements. Overall, not a bad SMB1 clone from Twilight Frontier, but I still hope they can go back to improving upon NSML if they ever plan on making more entries for this cute li'l series. I'm a die-hard fan of most of Twilight Frontiers endeavors into making fan-games heavily based off some of the most well-known platformer franchises (Mario, Mega Man, Castlevania), and despite them not doing them often (most likely because they also have to work on official spin-off entries for ZUN), I hope to see more from these, as a hardcore fan of all three of these series (especially Mega Man 'cuz they can greatly improve upon the aged mess that is MegaMari).
Is it basically a reskin of Mario Land with touhou sprite? Yes Is it challenging? I would say so It it a metric @#$% ton of to remote play with 1 or more friends? Absolutely! Get a friend and prepare to bubble scum though a bunch of the harder parts and die laughing as you still manage to mess it up.
This is a remake of the 2005 Super Marisa Land. It's a fun game that plays pretty much like the original Super Mario Bros. If you're in to that kind of stuff, give it a shot.
It's Mario with 2hu
Un mario clone muy cute. Te divierte un rato.
GOOD GAME. 已经全一命通关力。手感和超级马里奥世界差不多,蛮好的。
4 player local multiplayer is really nice.
