This game is just like "What never was" it is great i have played it on someone elses device and i have just started it on mine i plan on completing it on my account so do try this it is free and has interesting puzzle like mysteries and has a weird haunting-ish vibe. :D
Idk The game is short yet it manages to feel a bit slow. Its a point and click where you find things in a room and the VA (which I'm sorry, and I know smaller projects are limited, but doesn't really do it for me) talks about them, the game is bugged and closes despite being small in size, one of the achievements fails to trigger; the story is... SPOILERS Trevor is tooo two dimensional, as is Kelsey, Marie scraping 3d writing, Kelsey is written like a stereotypical "troubled" (annoying) kinda meanish girl that a man who grew up in, say, the first world with resources would write, it feels posey, like she talks sad ♥♥♥♥ and you can feel she's lying even if thats not the intention because the writing fell short, it wasnt the intention but it came out as fake, like people who do ♥♥♥♥ ups and lie a sob story for clout that doesnt actually represent feelings of poverty and neglect. Its not that Kelsey is unlikable because she's written as a nuanced and flawed characters, but more like...she's written frustratingly...stereotypical, thats the thing, she has no character. Or no real character. Some dialogue was cringey but not TOO cringey, Tumblrish? I think Tumblrinas would like this, but not for me. The narrative choice for the end wasn't for me, but that's personal. Idk, I just think the devs could've made smth better if they wrote about things they can connect with(?) and if they do connect with this story it didn't come out that way. I wish I could recommend but I honestly cant, it doesnt mean the publishers are doomed, just that this one story didnt personally work

i didn't expect that was what happened. great short game!
pps. 开头的操作有点卡顿,但调低画质之后会好很多 ppps. 英文很简单可以直接啃生肉
非常好的小游戏,文字细腻,被简单的名字误导了内容很精致
Short and sweet. Straight-forward story-line, but you have to work for it to get the whole picture. A nice game if you need something simple and quick but meaningful to play!
I wasn't expecting a game this short to leave such an impression, but it ended up being a really solid experience. The entire game takes place in a single room, yet it somehow manages to tell a surprisingly personal and emotional story through the objects you interact with and the memories tied to them. It never tries too hard to be dramatic, which honestly made the emotional moments hit harder. The biggest strength of the game is its storytelling. Instead of dumping everything on you at once, it slowly pieces together the friendship between the characters and lets you figure things out naturally. By the end, I felt like I had a pretty good understanding of who these people were, flaws and all. The room itself is also packed with little details that make it feel lived in, and exploring it was easily one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. Gameplay is pretty simple since most of your time is spent looking around and interacting with objects, but that's really all the game needs. It's clearly focused on the story first, and for the most part it succeeds. There were a few moments where interactions felt a little awkward, but nothing that took me out of the experience. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy narrative-driven games. It's short, easy to finish in one sitting, and tells a heartfelt story without overstaying its welcome. Not every game needs a huge world or dozens of hours of content to be memorable, and Marie's Room is a good example of that.
reminds me of life is strange <3 such a pretty and relaxing game pls make more
good.
this game is good. I dont think it was for me but i think it would be more emotional for other people. less than an hour to finish and free. You really dont have anything to lose so overall i world recommend.
