This is a 2D, sprite based marching simulator. It is intended to give the user what it would feel like to march a military formation, as well as see how well they can do!

Marching Simulator is, like it says on the box, a "game" where you control a squad of 12 military types and you must make them march around and perform various marching/parade maneuvers. The game is presented with 2D retro pixel "art", and has been in Steam Early Access for well over three years. Surprisingly, despite being in EA for so long, the game is still getting updates (at least from 3 months back), so the classification for this game is most appropriately in "Development Hell". There's no clear path or plan for this to be completed and leave Early Access. I thought this was some kind of joke game but I must say that a sincere effort has been made to recreate many technical aspects of the somewhat complex institution of military parade marching. There's a full game loop as well. The problems here, then, are just related back to the Development Hell nature of the game and the poor quality technical implementation. Resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed or customised to improve the visuals or the control experience. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game isn't truly free as theres's an intention to either charge for the game or for DLC (assuming it ever leaves Development Hell). Because this is incomplete with no clear indication it will ever be finished, and because of the poor technical implementation, I can't recommend downloading it.

KA BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
not bad for a little bit of fun but can become boring quickly. recommended for army generals to learn commands
This game is just shifting animations.
"Thats what military commanders have been waiting for." ENGLISH REVIEW: Join in, military freaks, theres a new feature on staem. Marching Simulator is a specific game for people who want to lead a march and give commands or thrill units. This works very well here. Positive: - adjustable graphic settings - able to avoid the annoying music (its not that bad ;P) - does what it should like (be a marching simulator) - small data size - tutorial with well instructions Negative: - 2D (but thats subjective, i know) - just one "landscape" and just 2 "uniforms" - music is not setable Summary: This game has a lot of potential, all doors are open for the creator. No other game provide this content, so it would be nice when the quality will rise up in the future. Its exactly what his name stands for: marching. Don't expect too much, but its quite suprising how awesome this game is if u interested in marches of military presentations. Should the game be develope on, please concentrate at the diversity. There could be more. Points 7/10 - nice to try for a short while possible average game time: 10 - 25 min
Its hard to call it a ”GAME”. Its like Minesweeper. You won´t come play it again after you know what it is. its missing sounds. the gameplay is boring after a while. it doesen´t have the best resolution. But hey... atleast it isn´t an another Battle Royale game. The game has 48MB so you can´t expect much afterall. But it does what it says so don´t call it a Bad game.
