very well put together game, it knows its inspirations and is really fun, i feel like it always used its mechanics in new ways and there's a ton of time you could put into this game whether its just trying to 100% the game or trying to get a better time i think this game has a lot to offer for how cheap it is
This has quickly become one of my favorite marble games. The levels work really well for their length and difficulty, the atmosphere is insanely good, and the little gimmicks are a ton of fun to engage with. The scream when you fall is the cherry on top.
Marble's Marbles is a wonderful modern example of a relaxing-yet-fiendishly-infuriating puzzle game. Riffing upon core elements of Marble Madness and Kula World, this game scratches that spherical-driven exploration itch. Although I've only played this for a short while, I just know that this will be a mainstay for me. I highly recommend it for puzzle fans who love marble rolling games.
I've completed the first world, and thusfar this is a very charming and enjoyable game! Comparison may be the enemy of a good compliment, but in the interest of helping others find this game if it's something they'd enjoy, I found the feeling to be much like everything I enjoyed about Snake Pass--a novel platforming challenge that doesn't involve your typical jumps and runs. The controls are fantastically fluid and intuitive, and you can go slow if you need or absolutely fly once you get the hang of it. I was also worried going in that it might trigger my motion sickness, but miraculously it was perfectly fine--the camera is responsive and easy to control without moving so quickly as to feel nauseating. Overall, splendid game, well worth the money!
This is really fun on the steam deck!
not good
Best game
I am abysmally bad at platformers, and that has not changed. I have to refund it because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck and I'm getting frustrated, I can see it would be fun if you didn't suck let me tho, so it's a thumbs up.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who played Ballance as a kid :D My biggest gripe (that I feel it will never be fixed) is that it's a perspective nightmare: sometimes it's impossible to tell where a platform is on the 3D space and the only way to figure it out is to just move on it hoping it wasn't way up high than what you've imagined. It's still worth the purchase, I love the atmosphere of the temple area (again, Ballance nostalgia) but everything is very charming, I'll definitely go back to at least complete all the levels, maybe 100%-ing it
