Marble Pop Paradise von WINR Games ist ein klassisches Match-Three Spiel in VR.
Marble Pop Paradise stellt sich selbst als relaxtes Spiel für Zwischendurch vor. Durch die tollen Extras, wie Zugriff auf einen Browser, funktioniert das auch super.
Wir stehen in der Ersten von vielen Welten zunächst auf einem Floss und treiben im Meer. Vor uns erscheinen die mitunter riesigen Murmelgebilde in all ihrer Farbpracht. Bewaffnet mit zunächst einer mechanischen Schleuder schießen wir munter bunte Bälle auf die passenden Farbflächen, die ebenfalls aus den selben Kugeln bestehen. Kombinieren wir nun mindesten drei gleiche Farben, verschwinden alle anliegenden Kugeln der gleichen Farbe. Soweit so bekannt.

In Marble Pop Paradise hat das Holz an dem die Kugeln hängen eine magische Wirkung. Solange sie irgendwo irgendwie mit einem Holzklotz in Verbindung stehen, bleiben die Kugeln egal welcher Farbe aneinander hängen. Gelingt es uns allerdings die Verbindung zu trennen, kann es sein dass mit nur einem Schuss viele unterschiedliche Kugeln zu Boden fallen.
Neben unser Schleuder, erhalten wir je nach Level unterschiedliche Spezialkugeln wie Bomben, Sägen, Laser usw... damit lassen wir mit einem mal viel Kugeln verschwinden. Vor allem die Holzkonstruktionen mögen das gar nicht.
Die Schleuder ist sonst mit mehreren Bällen geladen, wobei wir die ersten beiden per Knopfdruck, bzw. Touchpad bei den Vive-Controllern, austauschen können.

Die Grafik ist angenehm und bietet mit den vielen Welten reichlich Abwechslung. Es gibt 10 Welten mit 25 Leveln zu bestreiten, die jewiels mindestens einen von drei Sternen benötigen, um weiter zu kommen und in den Genuss weiterer Landschaften. Die teilweise riesigen Kugelgebilde drehen sich langsam in unterschiedlichen Richtungen hoch vor uns, das sieht schon toll aus.
Die Steuerung ist denkbar einfach und die ersten Level dienen auch als Tutorial. Marble Pop Paradise sollte am besten im Sitzen gespielt werden, den das simple süchtig machende Spielprinzip verleitet uns schnell zu längeren Sitzungen.

Ein besonderer Clou ist, dass wir, nachdem wir ein paar Level gespielt haben, einen Browser freigeschaltet haben. Jetzt können wir nebenher Musik hören oder Videos gucken, Netflix schauen oder was auch immer. Die meiste Zeit sollte das auch gelingen, aber es gibt auch Level, die ein Zeitlimit haben, da sollte die Serie im Stream nicht allzu spannend sein.
Marble Pop Paradise bietet allerhand, funktioniert wunderbar und sieht gut aus; und zu allem Überfluss, ist es umsonst!
Also, alle die gerne Match-Three Spiele spielen und eine VR-Headset besitzen, sollten diese Variante ausprobiren.

Marble Pop Paradise by WINR Games is a classic match-three game in VR.
Marble Pop Paradise presents itself as a relaxed game for in-between. Thanks to the great extras, such as access to a browser, this also works great.
In the first of many worlds, we first stand on a raft and float in the sea. In front of us, the sometimes huge marble formations appear in all their colorful splendor. Armed with a mechanical slingshot, we shoot colorful balls at the matching colored areas, which also consist of the same balls. If we now combine at least three of the same colors, all adjacent balls of the same color disappear. So far so familiar.
In Marble Pop Paradise, the wood on which the balls hang has a magical effect. As long as they are somehow connected to a wooden block, the balls of any color will stick together. However, if we manage to break the connection, many different balls may fall to the ground with just one shot.
In addition to our slingshot, depending on the level we get different special balls like bombs, saws, lasers, etc... with them we make a lot of balls disappear at once. Especially the wooden constructions don't like this at all.
The slingshot is otherwise loaded with several balls, and we can swap the first two by pressing a button, or touchpad on the Vive controllers.
The graphics are pleasant and offer plenty of variety with the many worlds. There are 10 worlds with 25 levels to contend with, each of which requires at least one of three stars to advance and enjoy more landscapes. The partly huge spherical formations slowly rotate in different directions high in front of us, which already looks great.
The controls are very simple and the first levels also serve as a tutorial. Marble Pop Paradise is best played sitting down, because the simple addictive gameplay quickly tempts us to longer sessions.
A special highlight is that after we have played a few levels, we have unlocked a browser. Now we can listen to music or watch videos, Netflix or whatever on the side. Most of the time we should be able to do that, but there are also levels that have a time limit, so the series in the stream shouldn't be too exciting.
Marble Pop Paradise offers all sorts of things, works wonderfully and looks great; and to top it all off, it's free!
So, anyone who likes to play match-three games and owns a VR headset should give this one a try.
