Mama's Sleeping Angels

Ignore the egregious amount of glaze here, but I love, love, love this game so much. It brings a certain weirdness and originality to the staleness of the "friendslop" scene that most new games could never replicate from. Like what REPO did for Lethal Company, Mama's improves on its predecessors with the whole curse system and the player models. The music is also peak (PLEASE go check out Gecko Afterlife and Crisp on Bandcamp, unfortunately idk where to finds Itamu's additions). The game is also really forgiving when it comes to no fall damage, respawning if you fall off the map, and allowing you to figure things out on your own, while also being hard in a fun way with map generation, curse spawns, and the different monsters. Unfortunately, I think the vision carries the game more than the execution, and believe that the game could REALLY benefit from things like a player model overhaul, a bit of a map visual overhaul, more interactions with the Imaginary Friends at Grandma's House, maybe some tweaking for the slightly janky movement system, and perchance more exploration of the amazing lore sprinkled around. But yeah, really awesome game, please play it with your friends, this deserves all the love it gets.

after mere, insignificant moment of trapping my everlasting soul in the terrors of unconscious, mama's presence feels like a merchant christ, like a burn that turns every other diminished soul and every moment of my past life into insignificant revery i wish i could separate every "i" from "i" and feed her with every inch of my soul, turn my insides out and give to her every single organ of my body, yet i cant. every moment without mama feels like a twisted, broken life escaping serenade for my sinful being now. i twitch and tick in pain, as my serotonin production ceases and my soul fades, as i beg to see her in person - not through detested tech, produced by filthy human fleshy beings. i wish to be a better angel for you yet i cant burn this vessel out of time i'll be waiting for the pipe dream bombs to burst...

Very fun, very replayable, very unique. Can't wait for future content and updates!
