About

You are Max Ventura, an ordinary delivery guy working for Megazon. When a dimensional rift tears through your warehouse, everything changes. You are pulled into Erath, a fantasy world tainted by ancient relics from Earth.
Armed with the Quantum Glove and the powers granted by the Dimensional Guardians, you must journey across a realm of dragons, mutant creatures, and magic.
Recover lost Earth artifacts, grow stronger, survive deadly traps, and uncover the truth about the First Chosen, a mysterious figure who failed the same mission long before you.

In EXD, your hands are your greatest weapon.
Every object reacts with astonishing realism: feel the weight of the weapons you wield, the texture of every surface you touch, and the precision of full physical interaction.
The Quantum Glove grants you telekinetic power. Summon fireballs between your palms, hurl ice spikes, and unleash devastating lightning bolts.
You’ll feel the energy vibrate through your fingertips.
The world of Erath is filled with secrets. Survive traps, solve puzzles, and discover legendary weapons and artifacts, the Minar Alloy Blades, the Wands, and the Timelox, capable of slowing time itself.
When your glove’s energy runs low, these relics become your lifeline against fully physical enemies.
Undead hordes, mutant insects, Dragonids, and powerful wizards serving the Emperor will stop at nothing to keep you from cleansing Erath of Earth’s corruption.
Explore every forgotten corner... and uncover treasures powerful enough to change your destiny.
EXD brings the world of Erath to life with breathtaking visual fidelity, inspired by classic fantasy artists Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo.
Explore vast crystal caverns, witness stunning landscapes, and descend into ancient underground temples that will leave you speechless.
The orchestral soundtrack evolves dynamically with your actions, sweeping melodies for exploration, intense arrangements for battle.
With 3D spatial audio, you’ll hear the wind howl through the canyons, the roar of a creature behind stone walls, and the crackle of lightning surrounding you.
A world so vivid, you’ll forget the danger lurking behind its beauty.

If you are not allowing the users to save manually - could you atleast save more often? Like before the traps? having to replay some story moments over is over is just irritating also the belt handles really bad, i can not count how many times i have dropped the batteries instead of doing what i've wanted.
I've played enough VR games now that I know what I like. The best VR games have a combination of stunning graphics, some conflict that requires the use of weapons, puzzle solving, and a soundtrack that provides atmosphere as well as audible clues of impending threats. EXD checks all the boxes. When I was looking for my next VR game, I typed those exact requirements into the AI prompt and the first game that came up was EXD. This was before the game was released. I bought it within a week or two of it coming out. Since the game was new to everyone, I had to figure things out on my own. The fact that I was able to proceed through the game without resorting to a walkthrough or discussions is another positive for the game. Though, I did get stuck twice and finally resorted to seeking help. More on that in a minute. There is some humor in the game. For one, throughout the game there is the ongoing dichotomy of being the "chosen one" while also being a delivery truck driver. There is also some internal dialogue when you successfully dispatch an attacker or attackers. Internal dialogue is also used to provide subtle clues. I did run into a few technical hurdles. The biggest one was that after a couple of hours of continuous game play my hands would freeze. I contacted Pimax support for my Crystal Light headset, and they reported back that the loss of hand tracking was the result of a lack of computational power. I have an older machine, but it still packs a punch - I9, Nvidia 3090 RTX, 64 GB Ram. The fix was to exit the game and return after a restart. I also inadvertently entered an area in the game I could not recover from. There was one point in the game in the last half where I was looking for the way forward and seemed to find a part of the game that had not been walled off, because once I entered this dark area, I sensed myself falling, and once I landed, I was below the playing area unable to move. Lastly, the interaction with the phone on my wrist was sometimes difficult because my left hand would be repelled away as I tried to interact with the screen. I avoid spoilers in my reviews, but I do offer tips. Tip number one is that besides continuous motion there is also the ability to teleport short distances. Practice the teleport every now and then because there are instances where teleporting is either the only way forward or it is the easiest way to proceed around obstacles. Tip number two: Some attackers have the ability to throw fireballs at you. Rather than trying to avoid the fireball, use your sword to deflect them. Also, take every opportunity to store batteries, candy bars, and use reclamation to gain access to weapons like fireballs, ice crystals, and lightening. Now for the two times I got stuck. The first is when I came across the hover craft. When you approach it for the first time, the internal dialogue says something about it missing parts. Here is where I got thrown off track. Nearby is a room with several parts that look like they could be those required parts. I wasted countless time trying to figure out how to get these random parts to fix the hover craft. I finally gave up and watched a walkthrough to help me get through that section. My note to the developers would be don't give a clue about missing parts and then provide parts that have nothing to do with solving the puzzle. The second instance where I needed help was in defeating the giant spider. I'm not a fan of the concept of boss battles. To me, they just bring things to a grinding halt, which is what happened when I encountered this monster. The biggest problem for me was that there was one spider nest that I could not determine its location. Once I saw it on a walkthrough, I defeated the big ass spider on the first try. The game is a little on the dark side. The developers do offer a flashlight and other lighting sources, but better lit scenes would have helped. It took me 34.5 hours to complete the game. I played sitting, which is how I play all of my VR games. The game ends with a reference to EXD 2. Sign me up.
Excellent VR game. Top tier graphics, fun and interesting campaign, great telekinesis mechanics.
This game is absolutely amazing and I love everything about it! The storyline is very unique and interesting and the interactions are wild! I love spanking my enemies after destroying them and making kababs with their heads.
Not bad But manuel save is needed ! Telekineses controls sucks ! Aiming with fire ball sucks ! moving sucks when you hit a wall everything turns orange can't see anything ! just because the girls is almost nacked and graphics look good doesn't make it a good game ! needs lots of improvement on all levels of the game ! 5/10
4 Hours In - Definitely Worth It
After about 4 hours of playing EXD – Extra Dimensional VR on my Quest 2, I can confidently say it has lived up to my expectations. The visuals are excellent, the sound design does a fantastic job of building tension, and the jump scares are a welcome addition without feeling overused. The elemental powers are one of the game's standout features. I found myself relying on the fire ability for most encounters because it was so satisfying to use. Most of the weapon designs are great, and while the story starts with the main character as an ordinary Amazon employee, watching them suddenly become the chosen one is both hilarious and surprisingly engaging. Overall, I'm having an absolute blast with the game.

Cons

No manual save system. Being able to save whenever I want would be a huge quality-of-life improvement.
No backpack or inventory storage. Carrying extra items would make exploration and resource management much more enjoyable.
Heavy weapons feel clunky. The wrist handling doesn't properly support or convey their weight, making them awkward and less enjoyable to use than lighter weapons.
Self-damage feels unnecessary. Holding a weapon at the wrong angle or accidentally hurting yourself while sheathing a sword can chip away at your health, which feels absurd. It's made even worse by the fact that healing items like candy bars and drinks are fairly scarce, so accidental damage ends up being more punishing than it should be.

Overall: Despite a few frustrating mechanics and missing quality-of-life features, EXD – Extra Dimensional VR has been a fantastic experience so far. If the developers address some of these issues, this could easily become one of my favorite VR titles.
This game isn't even on par with Arizona Sunshine. Graphics are mediocre at best. Game play and interface are clunky. Caricature voice and comments are CHeeeesy. The writers should be embarrassed. If you're looking for a Half-life Alyx quality game, this is no where near it. NOT even close.
