Malus Code is the story of a graduate student studying abroad at a Japanese university, and the three people he meets in the laboratory there. In this unfamiliar environment, can you earn their friendship? For those who don't want a lonely, sad life.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Что это все же было? Как бы то ни было, это явно лучше штамповки в духе сакуры.

An interesting and unusual Visual novel to watch and read and is developed by the same people who made Tokyo School life.

Malus Code has a complicated storyline. There are three parts to the game and you need to read one to unlock the rest. They're all pretty short. It took me less than two hours to complete the whole game. The story itself is somewhat unclear. Despite drawing me in with the interesting sections actually related to the Malus Code, the game never actually explains what the Malus Code is. There are multiple references to things that are either unexplained or simply left unresolved. The characters are pretty interesting. For starters, one of the girls is actually a boy. The way they interact can be heartwarming at times. I wouldn't say that the characters are extremely well written, but they aren't poorly written either. Finally, the game is simply not worth full price. While I do recommend it, I also recommend you buy it on sale because it's even shorter than Tokyo School Life!
Very pretty visuals. NOT a traditional dating sim if you're expecting that. Obviously influenced by Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, which is a good thing. The mystery of the plot is not handed to you so be prepared to play the game twice if you want to fully understand it. The "random" actions and dialogue of the characters are more than they appear, which I realized after the first playthrough. Definitely worth it on sale. Fun game if you like to solve mysteries and enjoy piecing together the puzzle of a story.
If you are looking for a VN that gives you more question than answers in the gameplay go for thi. But if that not what you are looking for well find something else
From a Normal VN, to a Thriller, to Suddenly everything got Fixed? Never expected something similar to DDLC when I started, but once I was done, it felt like that exactly. One thing, Don't but it at full price, as it is very short.
