About
Make Way is classic, top-down, multiplayer racing shifted up multiple gears. It's a party game at heart, inspired by the chaotic racing of Mashed and Micro Machines, and the course-building mayhem of Ultimate Chicken Horse.
Grab track pieces from a pick n mix menu and snap them together to build your first course. Dodge hazards, unleash weaponry, and avoid falling off the edge in a chaotic rush to the finish line, then bolt on new track pieces for the next round.
Scrap across ever-growing courses with increasingly perilous features until a winner is crowned before starting over with a brand-new course.
Work together—or against one another—to quickly build tracks using a range of ridiculous pieces, including loops, seesaws, corkscrews, and even train crossings. Then add obstacles and power-ups. Ruin your friends’ race with a well-placed barrier or jettison them off the side of a curve with a crafty boost-pad.
Six racers jostle and shunt to cross checkpoints and reach the finish line. Obliterate opponents with a range of wacky weapons, including goo cannons and Tesla coils, but beware: each checkpoint acts as a respawn point and revenge is a dish best served via a giant mallet or rooftop-mounted shotgun…
Unlock new track pieces and hazards for more dangerous course designs. Add new vehicles to your garage to romp to victory in style.
The finish line isn’t the finish! Add new track pieces after each round to create monstrously large courses, and score bonus points with your performance to take home the trophy.
Mix and match unique track pieces and hazards for near-endless course configurations
Fight for weapons and power-ups to gain the advantage
Unlock new track pieces and vehicles for wackier races
Up to six players, on the same screen or online with cross-platform multiplayer
Toggle traps and safety barriers on or off to make those twisty turns easier (or more perilous!) using fully customisable rulesets
Now includes the World Tour update, adding an additional eight vehicles, three track environments, Team Mode, and more!
Make Way's solo developer previously worked on Toybox Turbos and the Micro Machines series.

Very fun and silly idea that's lowkey ruined by countless bugs and horrible lag. When I played with a friend outside my region, even starting a lobby was a massive buggy chore. When we got into the game and played some rounds, we encountered multiple bugs that forced us to end the lobby and relaunch the entire game. We also couldn't have more than 1-2 CPU's with us because the game would lag so bad it was unplayable (as in, 10-15 FPS server lag and stuttering). We also desynced in a way where at the countdown of each race, one of us would be able to start driving long before the other's countdown finished, therefore causing the other to often die before we even got to move. Again, It's a really fun time when it works. I just expect more stability for the price.
Share with Developer - I've been gaming since the 80's. Today this game has ZERO pre-made levels to be able to go straight into a game - Rubbish! Micro machines 1, 2, Turbo Tournament '96, V3, V4, Wrecked Revenge Revisited (best game on the PS3!), Toybox Turbos, Micro Machines World Series - they all have many PRE-MADE levels and the games are great. This Make Way game is a waste of time and off putting. There's an old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You've made a terrible decision to make gamers make levels - we don't have time for that! A suggestion - you the developers make the levels - this should be DEFAULT when running the game and as an extra have in the menu a level creator. You've released this game too early without seeing the bigger picture. After a few minutes it’s just a bore. The olden days were best with the J-Cart introduction on the Sega Megadrive MM2TT. I mean peace and really hope you make at least 50+ pre-made levels to jump straight in and with weapons ON at the start - you’ll grab everyone’s attention and the game will be a sure hit! You'll lose massively on sales from the competition if anything but the above is done… promptly. I’ve had to ask for a refund.
Great game for some relaxed sessions with quite a lot of fun!
