RECOMMENDED 👍 Great Wasteland Vibe, Ruined by a Rushed Ending Mad Max is an underrated post-apocalyptic gem that nails almost everything it sets out to do—until the very end. The Good: Car Customization: Building the Magnum Opus from a rusty shell into an unstoppable war machine is pure satisfaction. Combat: Brutal, weighty, Batman Arkham-style melee combat that never gets old. Atmosphere & Visuals: The Wasteland looks gorgeous, and driving through massive sandstorms feels incredible. The Bad: The Ending: The story pacing completely falls off a cliff in the last missions. Characters are killed off for cheap shock value, the final boss dies in literally two shots, and the post-game narrative makes zero sense (dead characters just magically reappear with no explanation). Verdict: 8/10 Awesome gameplay loop and incredible atmosphere for 30–40 hours. Just lower your expectations for the story’s conclusion, ignore the rushed finale, and enjoy the ride.

Pretty awesome game! If you're a fan of any of the Batman games done by WB, this is in the same vein, except pretty dark in story and whatnot. Fun "button masher" controller game. Can't really go wrong when they're giving it away on sale for $3. Took 40hrs to beat 70% of all that can be done.
