First Impression after finishing the campaign: If you really ♥♥♥♥ with any of the Mad Max movies, this game is right up your alley. The essence and atmosphere that those films provide us can be doubled down and fleshed out more as you really immerse yourself in a really good open world for a game made in 2015. This AA game is so well thought out and polished that i can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a good solid safe game. But fans will enjoy the most out of being this cold ruthless killer out of necessity and all the upgrades/cars/things to do around the world. The story is solid enough, nothing CINEMA but they didn't water it down for the gamers. I was felt wanting a tiny bit more from the very end but i got the same enjoyment from Insomniac's Spider-Man (which is kind of rare for me) in which i really wanted to spend more time just completing the full game instead of speedrunning the campaign to get to the next game. There was no obvious way to set a difficulty but i thought it was just right to soak time into the game while also not having it be a breeze to go through. A couple of tiny nitpicks: some of the textures on few buildings and cars were transparent to not notice (might be just because of my mods tho). Changing my resolution to 1080 with 360hz had two similar option that felt like it had different changes? Furthermore, I normally drop all my settings to low to get a stable but high framerate but (fortunately in the end) all the lowest settings in game are a mix of normal and low which still looks great and runs fine too (around 250 frames). Now before this game, i would search on PC Gaming Wiki for any recommended patches/QOL that i have to manually do or any DLC to add to enhance the game. On top of what little i used (which was just unlock all DLC on the Steam version), i used Nexus Mods and the Vortex manager to automatically add them to the game that greatly made my experience worth it. They are as titled: "No Intro Video" "Easy Minefields" "World Map Tweaks" "Faster Harpoon And Thunderpoon Reload" "Buffed Iconic Shotgun" "Disable DOF" "Reduced Blood decals" "Legal Screen Be Gone" "No More Slow Drive Sniping" "Fury Road Max Remake" "Insta Repair" and "FOV And Camera Tweaks" (this one i didn't click the orange button on Nexus that auto downloads to Vortex to apply it) ((I manually downloaded the zip file and selected my preferred folder per the instructions of the mod to apply the FOV while also fixing other things relating to it such as when drinking water, you can free cam while the action is happening which is more aligned with what you come to expect when playing other 3rd person games nowadays. You really have to try the "3rd person with camera transitions removed (Recommended)" folder that i did that does more than other simple FOV modifiers and i HIGHLY recommend it)) Overall, it is a pretty good game that could rivals others with a bigger budget and name and i have no doubt about giving it 4.7 cars out of 5. Definitely buy it in a sale, its a no brainer to have this in your collection.
Absolute CINEMA.
ES BUENO PERO UN POCO REPETITIVO
The only good vehicular combat game on Steam, with crunchy, responsive combat both in and out of vehicles. A sprawling, wide-open world that does post-apocalypse right; no goofy robots, no immersion-breaking corporate LGBT dinkriding, and no clownsuits like the Fallout series has always had. Succeeds in building a world that's believable and immersive, and Max is as badass as ever (I think he made me like men) - If this game came out today, they'd charge you the price of admission for a Mel Gibson skin. Definitely worth the 20 bones.
Monde ouvert classique et répétitif. Gameplay mixant des recettes déjà vues. Néanmoins, l'ambiance et l'univers Mad Max sont au rendez vous, ça a été plaisant.
reminds me of the movie
Un excelente juego de mundo abierto, juntaron lo mejor de los juegos de Warner, si te gusta MAD MAX la saga de películas, definitivamente lo disfrutaras más.
