Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Балдеж! Ждем третью часть!
Probably the best company tycoon out there in terms of depth. Others might tackle multiple different industries at once, but this one handles just one industry perfectly. Hopefully the third entry allows for more indie based gameplay as opposed to big studios, and also allows multiplayer to be in the same physical space, regardless of PVP/PVE!

Detaylı ve eğlenceli bir oyun. Çok bağımlılık yapıyor.
I just played 3 solid hours nonstop after buying the game - I can say pretty safely that this game is addictive. Of course you might say "yeah that's just you!" but I think the game does a really great job of not overworking me as a player. Let me explain. The game starts with hiring a team of employees. It might take a while to get them all - really it starts with building offices and buying furniture and setting up toilets... but the point is - there is an initial, slightly tedious but also slightly "painting game" experience of setting up "the engine" that is going to be your company, while you barely have enough money to go very far. But eventually, the gameplay changes from the setup to a loop which involves picking what games you want to make (or what contracts you want to fulfill) and when you get to that loop, you don't really do very much other than pick how the game will be designed (by moving around sliders) and then once all that is squared away, just sit back and watch time fly by while your workers frantically build the thing you've asked them to build. And after it's done, you can figure out if you want to publish that flaming pile of doodoo (as we have all seen over and over again on Steam) or if you want to take some extra time to clean up the mess before throwing it at your fans to try out! Because the game's "play load" is really very lightweight, I can watch it for a very long time and I'm looking forward to seeing the next title that's released doing a lot better than the previous one did. This is the 2nd "game dev tycoon" genre game I've played, and the first one sort of turned me off to the genre, so this is nice to see someone do this sort of game well. I'm also very curious to see the loop when I develop my own game consoles, etc. Unfortunately there is no demo for this game, so you'll have to watch some videos to get an idea of how it plays. I'm generally happy that I picked it up, and I recommend it for anyone who likes management sims. UPDATE: There are lots of guides for how to score a perfect game, by setting sliders to match what is internal in the executables. The game either forces you to guess at what makes a game a hit, or you have to look things up in the guides. The help text doesn't really help much either. So you could save the game right before publishing a game, see how it scores, then reload the game and change the sliders over and over again to try to figure out what the best way to set things are, or just read the guides. I think that's really bad game design - you are stuck with cheating by either reloading to figure out internal game mechanics, or you have to look things up in a guide. That bumps the immersion down for me, but the game is still sort of fun - I just don't plan to ever play it on higher difficulties, and even at low difficulty the game is difficult to play without cheating.
It's not a game, it's a time killer. There's no depth to it, no mechanics to master, no systems to learn. MGT2's game loop is incredibly shallow: you simply figure out the best sliders for each genre through trial and error and repeat the same scheme for the next 10-20 hours or so until you get bored. Sure, there's a certain dophamine hit you get by seeing your numbers go up and up in a neverending spiral, but it gets dull very quickly. There's no challenge or unpredictabilty to keep you entertained, you can pretty much stomp out all the competition in a couple of decades like it's a EA's CEO wet dream. Once you get your first taste of snowballing, there's really not that many reasons to come back. Honestly, just play Game Dev Tycoon if you want that dophamine hit - it's cheaper and not as obtuse and bloated as MGT2. Or play Software Inc instead if you want to experience an actual tycoon/simulation game about development. This game however is really not worth your time.
Mad Games Tycoon 3?
玩过那么多游戏开发类模拟经营里面最细节最真实的一款 比较复杂建议查表 二编:打完真实mod以后学到真东西了,逆天
The game doesn’t seem very suitable for replayability. Whatever you do in one save, you can easily grow in a similar way in another save. In my opinion, adding different disaster-type timed events could help increase replay value.
